    I love my peeps but damn, Mexicans can get angry and stubborn in an instant. Then they hold that rencor for a long time. Truly no professionalism at all. But then again, it happens in all leagues.

    I guess what I'm trying to say is, we really can't afford to have a stubborn coach because we're not like Spain or Germany where you can make two great teams out of your 23-man roster.

    I still can't get over that Topo is going. Hell Chiquis was a better pick in 2006 compared to Topo.

    But this brings up a good point. Lavolpe took Chiquis because he is his son in law and did not take Cuau because of a personal grudge, at least these reasons, even though they are ********ed, make sense.

    If these rumors are true, Piojo thinks that Topo is a better asset than Gio. This is ********ing scary. I would much rather him not take Gio because he banged his daughter and not because he thinks its the best futbol decision.

    There's no excuse to leave Gio out.

    If I was the FMF I would fire Piojo on teh spot and get someone with basic common sense.

    I understand how system coaches can work in leagues and countries who have an endless supply of players.

    But a country as limited as Mexico? And the FMF wonders why they can't take the next step.

    Yeah, but the fact that we are wondering if he'll take Gio while the likes of topo, Maza and Marquez are almost a sure thing is facked up.

    I just always figured when it came to the national teams you put your best players in the mix and do your best to keep discipline, boost morale, motivate when necessary and try to put the players in the best possible positions to be successful. You don't force your "system" into the equation and plug mediocre guys at the expense of our real talent to fit your system. This isn't club soccer. There's a reason why the same teams always win the world cups - it's the abundance of individual talents not great sistemas. The fact that we even have to discuss this while Piojo and the FMF miss it is so backwards. What, is Piojo going to insist they play with a stone square shaped ball with losers to be bled out for the Rain God?

    They are different positions..
    Now, if he took topo and maza over reyes then yea.

    Everyone keeps bitching about maza and topo.. sadly, there is no one out there that is any better.

    If Herrera doesn't take Gio, It's a crime and he's stupid enough to do it. Another thing going to the world cup is how once again, we have a coach that can't read shit from friendlies. After all the friendlies to say that the goalkeeper that performed by far the best (Ochoa) and the one who has clearly done the worst (Muñoz) have the same chances and the latter may be leading for a spot, it shows that the friendlies might be meaningless to prepare for the world cup because of his ineptitude. This isn't good at all.

    I bet that Piojo wants to be seen as a guy that has the audacity to leave his best player out just for the sake of doing what's "best" for the team.



    If Medina, Vazquez, Gullit, Montes, Fabian, Herrera, Brizuela are going, then he's leaving no place for Gio. Especially since he said now that Pulido is basically going.
