Intriguing players to watch are Josh Morton (The Center back that scored against LA and will be attending Cal) and also Amir Bashti and JT Marcinkowski, USYNT regulars. Bashti is #20 I believe and HE'S A CAM!!! JT is a keeper.
Are you sure that it is at Spartan Stadium? The linked schedule says "San Jose State University", which more likely means the practice field across 10th Street.
U-16 will also be playing either before or after. Good question. I know the SJSU soccer team plays at Spartan stadium. So i just assumed this game would be at Spartan. I'll try to find out.

So the kids get a feel for playing in an actual stadium. Or because turf is very common in youth soccer. Idk
An empty stadium is still a stadium there's a big difference between playing in a park and a stadium. Empty or not. They also play regularly on turf at Mustang.
Also because from what Lew implied 8 years ago, he didn't want anything to do with SJSU/Spartan after they bailed on his plan to share the stadium. I on the other hand absolutely love Spartan. Wish they would replace the turf with grass again.
