They are either trying to get both and put one at cb, (most likely kola) or they failed in the luke shaw bid or expect southampton not to let him go.
Maybe they don't want to over pay for another over hyped young English player( Young, Zaha, Smalling, Jones). I don't think Kola will leave this summer, maybe next year.
Good point. Luke shaw isn't over hyped in my opinion considering the overall lack of lbs everywhere. But it would be a wiser move, kola brings more overall play to the table.
I'm not too familiar with Shaw, but most prices I've seen quoted in the media are well over 30 million euros, that just ridiculous imo.
Yeah, I wouldn't pay 30 mill. 20-25 is the most I would go. 15-20 is where his real value is at, the rest is just "potential".
Disagree with the United part but definitely built for the physical game. I think the refs would give him a harder time in England tho.
Schalke's response when asked if they had received an offer for Kola: "Schalke 04 never comment on rumors and Sead Kolasinac at this moment isn't speaking to the media because he wants to concentrate on finishing the season"
Meaning: "Schalke have received a ridiculous offer from MU but we have him concentrating on finishing the season strong and having a strong showing at the WC after which we will sell him for $17m as opposed to the $7m we received the offer for."
Lulic has already reached an agreement with Juventus for next season. Quagliarella, Isla or Giovinco could be included in the deal(Il Tempo)— Serie A News (@TransfersCalcio) April 29, 2014 They are also rumored to want Dzeko as their next signing after Lulic.
My brother loved Juventus and I used to hate my brother when we lived in Italy. Plus I used to follow AC Milan so natural enemies.
Claims already out that the Mamic brothers liked what they say from Stanic and have already agreed with Zeljo to a summer transfer.
I can't tell if this is a good thing or a bad thing. Zeljos record of "growing" players isn't impressive.
I think they're most likely bringing Lulic in as LB because they want to play 4 in the back in order to compete in Europe next year so it wouldn't affect him much.
Pogba will most likely be gone in the summer but I'm not sure what formation they are planing on using
I cringe at those last two you mentioned. Dzeko and Visca are the only two notables and I wouldn't even go so far to say that Visca's talent was unearthed by Zeljo, it was more Susic who saw something in him. Let's just hope for the best and expect the worst!
What bosnian club has done better though... and I'm a FKS fan. And Visca was a boss when he was at Zeljo @PlavoSarajevo
But that's the thing I'm worried about. It doesn't matter what team he goes to in the BPL, the risk/reward ratio is extremely poor for us. Gotta start somewhere I guess.
