I have to pronounce Hawaiian surnames and place names on a daily basis, and do a pretty good job of it, if I do say so myself. It's pretty easy once you get used to the pronouncing the vowels correctly ..i.e. a “ah” e “eh” i “ee” o “oh” u “oo” Then you just have to remember how to stress them when used after a consonant. There are 12 letters in the Hawaiian alphabet (a, e, i, o, u, h, k, l, m, n, p, w) Plus a 13th "letter" called "okina" that is written as an apostrophe. e.g. The name KAHOOHALAHALA KA(h) - HO(h) - O(h) - HA(h) - LA(h) - HA(h) - LA(h) The places HALEAKALA HA(h) - LE(eh) - A(h) - KA(h) - LA(h) WAILUKU WAI(ee) - LU(oo) - KU(oo) And of course WAIKIKI WAI(ee) - KI(ee) - KI(ee)
Lord bigus trollus knows when trolling attempts are being made and not to bite......it usually is the result of a bigsoccer pseudo intellectual is very mad, maybe because his manager is becoming an expert in failure this season?
I'm not surprised the English no longer understand the meaning of the word failure either. Must be all that exposure to Arsene Wenger
I rolled my eyes when I saw that...f**king £70 million?! REALLY?! United's could spend close to £200 million...and they won't be in the Champions League this season~! Where in the blue hell is the ambition here?! EDIT: Seriously, Liverpool's spent less money than Arsenal had, had a smaller squad than Arsenal have, they don't have the revenue streams Arsenal have...and they're going to win the league. Wenger, Gazidis and Kroenke should be embarrassed by that.
THAT is brilliant. That guy is an accent wizard! It's one thing to recognize them all which i can sort of do. But yet another thing to verbalize them while morphing from one to another. I'm in awe of whomever that was.
They have played about 10 less matches and have had less injuries. While I will agree that this has been the best chance for Arsenal to win the league, you can't discount those factors. Shit, now I sound like a Wenger apogist. Shit, shit, now I've really given myself away.
Wait since when have Liverpool spent less money than us? Here's something we can all cheer: http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/tottenham-weigh-up-gamble-on-david-moyes-9281480.html
