We have until May 13 to have 30 players for the WC. Not until June 2 do we need 23. Who are your 30?

Def going unless horribly injured obviously

    Gks - 3
    1.) Ospina
    2.) Mondragon
    3.) Vargas

    DF
    4.) Zuniga
    5.) Armero
    6.) Arias
7.) Yepes - been solid for Atlanta maybe Perea is what makes him look like shit in Yellow
    8.) Zapata

    MF
    9.) Cuadrado
    10.) James
    11.) Abel
    12.) Aldo
    13.) Valencia

    CF
    14.) Jackson
    15.) Bacca
    16.) Teo
    17.) Ibarbo
18.) Falcao - as long as he is able to run I think he will get called up

Maybes - the other players who get called up consistently

19.) Perea - been pretty much shit forever but limited choices unless he calls new guys and don't see him calling 3-4 new CBs that can take his spot. Only 4 months till we never hear this clowns name again
20.) Carlos Valdez - hope he didn't get called last games to adapt to new club because he was great in all the games he played. Good partnership with Zapata and Yepes
21.) Balanta - Sub LB and CB possibility? Pekerman will take 1 player for the future that won't get many minutes and I see that being Quintero
22.) Macnelly - Can't see him not going unless Quintero starts all the next Porto games and does something special
23.) Sanchez - we don't have much talent in DM so think his and Valencias spots are safe until Copa America.
24.) Medina - With how well Arias is doing I see it hard for him to come but he can play RB/RM/CB so I wouldn't be shocked if he gets called
    25.) Meija - staying home
26.) Adrian Ramos - Falcao goes to the WC then Ramos watches it from home. I doubt that no matter how many goals he scores that he will get Pekerman to drop Teo.
27.) Muriel - I see him watching it from TV. Bad season and with Ramos and Ibarbos form it will be the end of him.
28.) Guarin - banned 1st game and been bad for Club/Country. Watching us lift the title from home
29.) Quintero - Huge wild card for me. I like to think its him or Macnelly and Pekerman will bring him but I have a feeling Quintero will come.
30.) Darwin Quintero - Not many minutes but gets called up consistently

    Wild Cards
31.) Murillo - Please have him replace Perea !!!
32.) Angulo of Granada - Armero sub. Tho his defending isn't very good at all
33.) Aquivaldo - tho think he retired from the team
34.) Another GK Delgado of Millos or Neko?
35.) Daryo Moreno - media is talking him up but has little shot of making the team
36.) Pedro Franco - need CBs but see his call up as a huge huge wild card
37.) Carbonero - If he calls Teo and Balanta why not Carbonero?
38.) Cardona - to me much better than Macnelly but what can you do.
39.) Freddy Montero - he hasn't scored in 2014 yet haha but imagine this kid when he hits his on fire form at a WC :)
40.) Oscar Murillo - Nacional CB
41.) Meza - Santa Fe CB

I'm going to add to your list Craz

    Super Wild Cards
42.) Dorlan Pabon - Getting minutes for Sao Paolo but has a nack for inconsistency. RW/CAM/ST/LW/RM
43.) Pedro Franco - great youth player hasn't been mentioned by Pekerman. CB
44.) Hugo Rodallega - Would love to see the reaction of people faces when is called up haha. Seriously doubt he'll be called up.
45.) Gustavo Cuellar - another youth player who has yet to be called to the NT, would be awesome to see him
46.) Gustavo Bolivar - haha just thought he was an honorable mention.
47.) Jhon Viafara - 40 yard shot to win against Spain in the Final.
48.) Hector Quinones - LB, better player than Angulo but has disappeared.
49.) Vlad Marin - Power freekick but old not call up
50.) Carlos Carbonero - has potential to get call up actually but I doubt it anyways
51.) Juan Pablo Angel - ehhh not a chance in hell but then again just seeing him makes me feel bad that he never lived the dream.
52.) Diego Chara - actually a consistent player and plays very well. Too bad he doesn't get a call him and Cuellar would be spectacular.
53.) Gio Moreno - the 6'3 wonder is living life in China. Hopefully he comes back as a monk
54.) David Ferreira - mmmmmmm nah next!
55.) Sergio Romero - ST Deportivo Cali, has decent outings.
56.) Brayan Pera - ST Lazio, good tall player.
57.) John Mosquera - since Union Berlin the dude just disappeared.
58.) Fabian Vargas - the mother of all demons that Crazy hate.

    Fantasy Wild Cards
1.) Rick Grimes - dude is funny when he cries
    2.) Walter White - badass
3.) Goku - just cause I love DB
    4.) Ash - random idk...
5.) Spongebob and Patrick - can be our CB's if yepes and co are injured.

Goku and Ash are Japanese. Better to not use either against Japan.

Well, isnt Perea injured? Not sure how long Perea's out but at least Aquivaldo understands el 'proceso' so I wouldnt be so surprised by the move.

Most of our starting defenders are in some type of trouble:
1)Zuniga - finally back on the 1st team awaiting his chance to get minutes
2)Armero - finally getting solid minutes @WHU, although not with very good performances (as could be expected considering he's just getting settling in)
    3) Zapata - bench
    4) Perea - just coming back from injury with CAzul.
    5) Valdez - has had an injury plagued season with CASL. Not playing the minutes he probably would have wanted at this point.

Yepes is playing full 90 minutes pretty much every week so that's a huge +. Arias is also doing the same.

So with all the above uncertainties I would not be surprised if Mosquera returns. I do wish we had a little bit more pace in that CB position.

“Hablé con Pékerman y estoy listo para volver a la Selección”: Aquivaldo Mosquera.

what do you think guys? Deserves a call or not? I herd that there's a chance that Pekerman will invite Jeison Murillo and now Aquivaldo can be an option as well. I didn't do bad in Mexico, he was decent and still is, but I don't know, I wasn't impress too much by him in yellow. On the other hand, Murillo and also Medina, have good season so far and can be very good options on the bench, not to mention Balanta as well.

i like aquivaldo - i would not have an issue with him on the team, but my current concern is more with zapata who has been riding the bench the past 7 games...on the flipside at least Yepes is playing regularly at the club level

He wants to go to a WC before he retires.... I say F U and stay in Mexico. Seriously how many players that are about to retire are we bringing?

Yepes should go and is our CB with the best form currently. Dude is beastly in Atlanta. I have given up on hating his inclusion on the team. I just hate the whole he needs to go because of experience argument and not he needs to go because he is the best that we got in a very limited position.

Aquivaldo and Perea..... here is where I get angry. Both suck and both cost us silly points in qualifiers. Are we just bringing these 2 because they never been to one? Mexico isn't any better then the Colombian league I don't get why these 2 get so much love. Aquivaldo is defiantly the least of 2 evils but I don't want to see either of these 2 assholes in the last 23.

Mondragon? Did he have a good season? He is retired...... I don't see us not bringing him. I just have to still ask why? !!!

    Who knows?

What I do know is that he is not a RB. He is more of a natural CB and even moves forward almost like a Midfielder for Nacional at times. That adds to his value that he is versatile.
The injury though could seal his fate. We shall see.

Well it's basically the city. My roommates little brother lives in one of the new buildings where the top floor you can see Fenway or all of Boston.
