    Gross, 2004....

Although the thought of a (current) Brad Davis, (former) ROB, and (current) Eddie Johnson on the field doesn't sound like the worst thing in the world.

I think that's the lineup I first played FIFA with. I remember the ridiculous way the commentators in the game pronounced "Pareja," similar in its phonetic approach to the way our current TV broadcast team believes "Texiera" is pronounced.

Wonder if OP adds in some knowledge of how to take EJ out of the game mentally?

Loyd you dumbass. More evidence that Kellyn Acosta belongs in that starting position.

I suppose the ole "hyndman 4DM" strategy was worth a try.... It didn't work for shit. Just liked it didn't work for shit for Schellas... Oh well...

I still think Loyd is a dumbass.

Well, now we know how Houston felt, not that I give an S about them.

Just hope the injury to Mauro isn't serious, not sure if the sub was tactical or not, just following online and it said injury.

Beautiful team goal on the opener, best goal of the season.

Was Loyds cars a 2nd yellow or straight red (while on a yellow, which you can get). Straight red would likley mean harsher discipline.

2nd Yellow from the replay I saw of the ref pulling the card after the foul.

The only way this could have been worse is if a swarm of gorillas invaded the pitch and started butt********ing everything wearing red....

Good thing everyone on this board doesn't think this team is perfect and are realist.

It was a BAD game. Time to move on don't ya think?

Holy crap, was that game bad.

After the Diaz goal, it looked as if it was going to be a smash-and-grab win. DCU had the better possession, but in terms of actual goal scoring chances, it was fairly even. Then Loyd had his brainfart, Oscar had his, and 50 minutes later, we're on the business end of a first-rate ass-whipping.

Michel's stupidity was just the cherry on the shit sundae.

Looked like a second yellow. But probably deserved a straight red.

The decision to sub out Blas is the big head-scratcher for me. Unless it was injury-related.

Go down a man and you pull arguably the two hardest working muther********ers off the field?
    Oscar WTF?!!!

If Diaz is injured then OK but Blas does soooooo much work off the ball - defense, taking a hit for a call, getting in opponent's heads.

Pulling Blas was a mistake - on the coach.

And the late red card on Michele? Aw ******** man, I wanna sucker punch Michele and that high school ref.

I wonder what would have happened if Loyd hadn't made it easy on the ref by already having one, but I think it was called a second yellow because it was technically still a loose ball and not properly a challenge on the DC player. Reckless play to be sure, and I would have had a hard time complaining if it did get called a straight red, but I'm not sure he was specifically going for the other guy.

I don't think everyone understands Blas is not 100%, hasn't been for a while, and is that guy that will grind himself into the ground. I personally think subbing him was the right thing to do and I'm guessing whatever has been nagging him flared up. This is a long season and Blas is too important to ask him to hoof it around for 90 minutes in a game that was lost.

If anything this served as a quality chance to get AJ/Moffat some playing, rust knock off time. Both are obviously not up for it either. That Moffat turnover for the goal was embarrassing.

I agree with Hitman. This was like the Rangers leaving in a starter so the bullpen doesn't get burned out. There are a lot of games left and the important part is to be inn the playoffs and healthy and mostly rested once they start. Haven't we for years griped about SH running the team into the ground? Well sometimes you have to let one go for the rest of the season.

In Oscar, we trust but damn it would feel better to have some offensive depth. Or, you know, the guy making a killing on the team actually on the bench!
