    Sat 9/13--Pats on road 9/14
Sat 10/4-Pats home Sunday Night(possibly no lines)
Sat 10/25-Pats home Sunday 1pm-will have lines.

In reality looking at all. Revs will have NFL lines 1 time no doubt, possibly 2 times.

    Playoff Dates
Pats only have 2 home Dates from 10/26 thru 12-7.
    11/2 and 11/23

And just like it has been in the past Sounders/Seahawks have no next day match ups. Just one home game same weekend.

Last year what, we dealt with pointy-ball lines 2 times, because of playoffs? Better than other years I guess.

It has nothing to do with influential ownership. It has to do with nights of games.

Seattle 4 home games Sept/Oct 2 of them are Friday Nights. Personally I would rather deal with NFL lines than have 2 Friday Night games.

Let's say he's a work in progress. He was almost unwatchable at the beginning, but he has improved. Ale Moreno is better and funnier, IMO.

I tend to agree and made a similar comment in one of the threads a few weeks ago. I have not seen him much lately (this year), but I am told he is improving. I wish him the best, but everybody has their own taste.

Can soemone post a summary of what he said. Obviously, Taylor used to say "obviously" a lot, but obviously, it's a work in progress, so, obviously, it would make sense that he's gotten better, obviously.

Just curious - Last night at 5:30 I received an offer, as a marathon volunteer, of a couple of free tickets to Saturday's game. The email said they hoped to see the stands filled with this year's blue volunteer jackets. All I needed to do was register. At 7:30, when I went to register for them I received the following message from Ticketmaster: "Unfortunately, this offer is not available." Then it took me to an ad for season ticket and mini season ticket packages. Did something go wrong; was I just too slow on the draw; or is the stadium sold out? (I'd be Ok with the last one.) Anybody else get this offer and have the same issue?

That's disappointing to hear. I've emailed my ticket rep, will PM you when I get an answer.

Edit to add: @BostonTrotter please check your PM. Hope that helps.

Using the win at home and tie on the road metric (which would be the "zero" point) we are still off three points. Considering our amazingly anemic scoring rate this season so far to be one point out of first place in the East is a real tribute to our defense. I've not been a huge fan of Shuttleworth but he and the revolving core in front of him have kept us competitive. Where is that top level striker they say they were looking to sign? (it's NOT Teal)

I compared our results year over year out of curiosity. Last year, we were at 9 points through 8 games compared to this years 11. On a ppg basis, we finished last season at 1.5 ppg, right now we are at 1.38 ppg.
It was actually between games 8 and 9 that we got Agudelo last season, and he didn't debut till game 11.

As of this weekend's upcoming game, more than a quarter of the season will have passed. And we're still waiting.

Dude, relax. no need to panic. 7 goals in 8 games......granted 1 was an own goal and two were PK's. so that leaves 4 from the run of play in 8 games. Of those two were scored by forwards so really 50% of the goals scored from the run of play were by a forward so why bother replacing Juan or even upgrading the current staff?

At least we are getting PKs. I remember when we went like a whole year without any PKs. Ironically enough, that was when we had our most potent offensive players ever, which would suggest that there would be a lot more possibilities for PKs, with all the attacking runs in the box and all that... The problem was Twellman was always to "honest" to stop trying, even if he was legitimately fouled in the box, unlike a lot of players.

It's funny, we've already had two penalties for us this season, when last season we only had five last season. Also, we didn't win our first last season until May 8, which we beat by almost a month this season. It'll be curious to see if the pace keeps up or levels off. Hopefully the latter, if our scoring from the run of play doesn't improve.

If you win at home and tie on the road for 34 games, you walk away with the Supporters Shield . . . so unless you set 68 points as the bar, that's not really the metric by which you should measure how well a team is doing.

@franharrington He's been excused this week for personal reasons

Any more on the Sene front? Quite a bubble up a few days ago, then silence. Both on Twitter, and here on BigSoccer.

Normally, it would be extremely odd that a starting XI player's disappearance from ANY team would trigger so little interest, locally, nationally, etc.

Odd, except that in this case it is the Revs. So, the lack of reaction is Not Odd. Irrelevance strikes again.

Did I incorrectly hear that a top team should expect to win at home and be able to at least tie on the road?
