Yeah. I've read that too this morning and it makes sense. No surprise standout from the league. And we probably know just about everyone who's going be in the final squad anyway.
Hmmm...... this is what I think it might look like: GK: JSR, KSG, LBY DF: CDR, LY, KYK, HJH, HSH, KJS, PJH MF: LCY, NTH, KSY, HDS, HKY, KJC, KBK FW: LKH, PJY, KSW, JDW, SHM Missing one spot though, perhaps HMB already had KCS in mind?
Some thing on a brazilian news site that ranks the economic transfermarkt values of each WC team http://www.valor.com.br/copa2014/infografico-valor-mercado
vs. Ghana in Miami June 9? http://www.onetainment.com/?p=3566&...ana-dump-honduras-set-play-south-korea-june-9
but what if someone gets injured between may 9 and when the 23 man squad was supposed to be handed in? Will hong be able to call someone outside of his 23 man squad should someone get injured during that time span? I thought that u call up 30 players and then choose only from them.
Yes, HMB can call up anyone he likes after May 9, as long he submits the final squad list to FIFA by June 2.

Well, we had a total of 13 friendlies plus the EAFC going into the 2010 FIFA WC during the HJM era, 10 before the final 23 and 3 afterwards so that only makes it 2 matches less for HMB who has a total of 11 friendlies + the EAFC since taking charge of the KNT. Here's the list of friendlies + EAFC matches in preperation for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa: 2009/08/12 International Friendly vs Paraguay: Home: 1-0 Win 2009/09/05 International Friendly vs Australia: Home: 3-1 Win 2009/10/14 International Friendly vs Senegal: Home: 2-0 Win 2009/11/14 International Friendly vs Denmark: Away: 0-0 Draw 2009/11/18 International Friendly vs Serbia: Away: 0-1 Loss 2010/01/09 International Friendly vs Zambia: Away: 2-4 Loss 2010/01/18 International Friendly vs Finland: Away: 2-0 Win 2010/01/22 International Friendly vs Latvia: Away: 1-0 Win 2010/02/07 2010 EAFC vs Hong Kong: Away: 5-0 Win 2010/02/10 2010 EAFC vs China: Away: 0-3 Loss 2010/02/14 2010 EAFC vs Japan: Away: 3-1 Win 2010/03/03 International Friendly vs Côte d'Ivoire: Away: 2-0 Win 2010/05/16 International Friendly vs Ecuador: Home: 2-0 Win 2010/05/24 International Friendly vs Japan: Away: 2-0 Win 2010/05/30 International Friendly vs Belarus: Away: 0-1 Loss 2010/06/03 International Friendly vs Spain: Away: 0-1 Loss
The fact that HMB only had 1 year to work with the team makes me think that we need more friendlies. I also think that we should have gotten a friendly with a good European team as a preparation against Russia and Belgium.
Ghana game appears to be a done deal but with some details (time / loc) to finalize According to http://kfa.or.kr 국가대표 경기일정/결과 (KNT Schedule / Results) 2014-06-09미국 마이애미(시간 미정)친선경기가나 USA Miami / Time TBD / Friendly / Ghana
omfg this is literally like the ********ing day after I come back from europe ... I would see the ACTUAL A SQUAD of Korea play an international friendly against another world cup qualified team....
Most sources say it will be played at FIU stadium https://www.google.com/maps/place/F...2!3m1!1s0x88d9bf3a1a3a910f:0xf86989abba87061f
WHAT HOLY SHIT EVEN BETTER I thought it was at the sun life and that's so far from where I live + seats are far from the stadium SO many of my friends go to FIU and it's much easier to get there from where I live. I'm honestly so excited
