LOL! Your picture is on the internet, dumbass. You should thank me for being courteous enough to delete the post. Keep trying to play the victim and blame everybody else. Typical hipster.
I don't get why everyone takes @SirManchester so seriously. Often I may not agree with or even read his posts, but he's as good a contributor as @MatthausSammer and has been on this forum 10 times longer than some of our members here.
If you guys can't be civil and keep resorting to personal attacks and name calling then what's the point of keeping any of these threads open? Act your age, gents. ; )
People don't have a problem with SirManchester's opinions generally. It's the delivery that is the issue. Everyone just needs thicker skin.
don't you think it's an issue when a lot of posters complain about the same thing with this user ? maybe he's trying to increase his rep to post ratio as @MatthausSammer would surely rep any of his post
We agree on a lot of things, but SirManchester would be saying very different things if his goal was to have the best rep-to-post ratio. And I think this whole thing about "SirManchester's arrogant" or "SirManchester's condescending" is really overblown. He has thoughtful contributions and posts constructive ideas. It's not his fault people can't handle when he puts forth a bit of snark as well.
The main problem with that argument is that I get a long with so many posters. If the narrative is true then why do only some people react and others don't? As usual, the problem lies elsewhere and is just personal, unable to be articulated. I am here only for football discourse. Nothing else. It's a shame others aren't either.
Tevez' first goal in European competition in five years. 72'. Benfica 1-1 Juventus Lima scores for Benfica in the 83'. What a goal. Benfica 2-1 Juventus FT: Sevilla 2-0 Valencia Valencia have it all to do at home in the second leg. FT: Benfica 2-1 Juventus
Typical "discussion" with SirManchester. Someone disagrees with SirManchester. SirManchester writes 3 condescending paragraphs explaining why his opinion is correct. Person who disagrees is irritated by condescending tone, as any normal person would be, and it comes through in their response. SirManchester claims he is only trying to have a discussion, why all this VITRIOL?! Why does everyone target him?? Totally overlooking the fact that if you have a snarky tone in the first place you are inevitably setting the table for a downward spiral into "vitriol". It's simple human nature, not rocket science. Nobody needs thicker skin. SirManchester is not anybody's boss. He shouldn't behave like he is. People don't come here to be talked to like that. If he wishes to be treated better, it starts with his own attitude towards other posters. He cries foul more often than anyone. Sure, all the ones that agree with you.
There are emerging rumors and reports on the web that Tito Vilanova died after undergoing surgery in Barcelona. http://www.fulltimedeportes.com/2014/04/fallece-tito-vilanova.html?m=1
Well, he had an aggressive form of cancer with several set-backs in his treatment and there were previous confirmed reports that he was to undergo surgery in Barcelona. It sadly sounds plausible.
Do we always need a discussion about how SirMan posts? Yes we all know his style, if you don't like it put him on ignore or whatever that function is and end of discussion. Sure he doesn't necessarily debate to everybody's delight, but this is a forum and he can behave whichever manner he chooses to do.
terrible news ... its all over the internet now http://www.insidespanishfootball.com/105627/tito-vilanova-reportedly-rushed-to-the-emergency-room/
He is in critical condition after a gastrointestinal operation. Hopefully he can pull through and recover, he always seemed like a good guy from what I could tell.
Red Bull Salzburg's very successful coach Roger Schmidt is going to take over Bayer04 Leverkusen next season. This is going to be very interesting! If he can implement the collective quality of his RB Salzburg team at Leverkusen, we can expect great things from them in the future. Add to that Stöger's tactically well tuned 1. FC Köln team and we will see some exciting tactical duels next season. The Bundesliga's quality of coaching was arguably never higher than next season.
