Now, he's just a young DP, doesn't cost much against the cap, it doesn't matter if he's the equivalent of an underwater mortgage that the bank won't take the write down on, we can all just pretend he can develop still - at least he made the subs bench!!!!
We could have easily scored 4 goals in the first 5 min of the second half, but we are scoring challenged. However, it's not statistically time to panic. All is well.
Amen goes there! No way he is that bad or else go get someone else a young DP contract that can make an impact sooner! Maybe since Boniek gave the nod for us to get him Dom may not want to offend a key player by chunking the deuce to his recommendation? Who knows!
Speaking of fowl language (see what I did there?). Would I be an a**hole if I bumped my posts from January where I talked about his this team was going to struggle?
All is well??? Can you give me the number of your crack dealer? I wanna smoke some of the same stuff you've been hitting!
Yup, I am given a lot of crap when I criticize the team for having a million dollars on the bench. That's exactly what I hear: He's young, he is a young DP, give him time, he is young, he is young, he is young. The answer is we FKD UP!!!!
No, but you would have to trade or sell (in OBGs case) a starter in the summer. To me, everyone with a first name of Corey, Kofi, Rico, Warren, AJ, JJ, Mark, Tyler, Dom and Oscar is off the table. Listen to reasonable offers for everyone else.
Carrasco??? A holding midfielder? Brilliant Dom. Hey, David Moyes is available and I guess he'd work cheap!!
There was an article on MLSsoccer.com yesterday about teams that don't get a certain amount if points in the first 8 games rarely make the playoffs. There have been an unusually high number of ties in the East this year so the points needed to make the playoffs may be lower than in years' past but we could be out of this thing by Memorial Day. We may need to think about 2015 and beyond earlier than usual - which also means not signing Bruin to an onerous contract (I don't think Kofi re-signs with MLS)
