Back on the road against New England. They've currently played 1 more game than us, and sit on 8 points. They drew 1-1 in Chicago, but then who doesn't draw with Chicago lately.

We have historically done very well in New England, correct? I see no reason why that should change now. I expect a Sporting win.

Goncalves and Rowe out is a big blow for New England.

On our side, Collin is questionable after the strain that took him out of the game against Montreal. Per Vermes, he'll make the trip but he's not 100% starting. It would be Besler and Olum if Collin can't start.

It'll be interesting seeing Teal on the other side for the first time. I really have a bad feeling that the soccer gods will find it humorous to have him score on us.

I hope we win 4-3 with Teal scoring a hattrick.

Years back, former players came back to play KC and had good games or scored goals that hurt us, but that hasn't been the case lately. I think that our defense has played with Teal enough to know what to expect from him, so I don't see him putting anything in the net.
I really like Teal, but a goose egg for Mr. Bunbury sounds a lot better to me.

I repped you for the win, but then took the rep away for that last part.

Most of the goals I can recall Teal scoring were not from beating the offsides traps or taking the keeper on 1v1. Seem to remember him poaching more goals than creating them. Nothing terribly wrong with that, but seems like with his skill set he just should be better.

Best of both worlds: Sporting wins and Teal scores a(n own) goal!

If we can somehow shutdown MLS Dream Team forward, Teal Bunbury, we'll be fine.

Oh god here we go... Haha how many times do I have to say it's my favorite group of players or my dream team as opposed to it actually being a dream team.

I'm never going to get that one off my back..ever

I a couple quite vividly. The game vs Houston at home in 2011 we won 3-0 and he had 2, both against the trap. Then there was his one against New England on the road where he beat Reis 1v1. Or how about his first in the playoffs in the 2-0 win over Colorado beating Pickens 1v1...

And who can forget his gift from Onstad in 2010 during the comeback against Houston. Bunbury was lucky he was fast cause IIRC that first touch almost gave it back to Onstad.

And he did something somewhat similar to this at Chicago, the following year. Just great anticipation.

Well. Stop saying psychotic things like you want ex players to score hat tricks on our club and we might let it go. o_O

And now Saer Sene has been excused for "personal reasons", per the Revs twitter.

Maybe we'll see the triumphant return of Shalrie Joseph.

I'm seeing the kid with the Sonic the Hedgehog Doo (Fagundez) is also questionable. Kind of makes me nervous with them having so many people out. We're either going to hang four on them or get trapped and lose 1 - 0. I don't like the weather forecast either. Last year in NE was one of the worst games I've ever seen. Wind + Turf = cant' keep the ball on the ground.

Also, depending upon when USMNT reports, this could be the last game to get maximum points before Besler, Zusi (maybe Benny) are gone, right? Do we still have them for Columbus on the fourth?

USMNT reports on the 14th, so we still have them for the Columbus and Montreal games.

Rowe, Goncalves, Alston, Sene, maybe Fagundez.

    Jebus.

Sam McDowell just tweeted that Collin is available for tomorrow.

with all them out, maybe it'd be prudent to keep collin on the bench and start olum back there. it gives collin more time to make sure his hammy doesn't flare up and gets olum back in the cb groove ahead of when we're actually going to need him.
