You know, it really does look like Real Madrid is using Comic Sans for the names and numbers on the back of their kit.

Ribery has to be the most overrated player in the world.

    Gotze on.

Muller should be next for Lahm.

Wynalda with a couple of great zingers today - Pep giving Robben instructions:

"We've been watching Robben a long time - I think that's the longest he's ever pad attention to someone else"

    haha.

I don't know, I think that was a deserved penalty. Without Xabi's 'intervention', Muller was connecting with that ball.

One goal in two games of the CL semis. None was pretty football. Our lesson is we will need to prepare for being forced into these kinds of games next year in the CL.

Not if we can keep our strike partnership intact...we'll force teams to come out, as they'll be behind early. :)

You'd think that josay managed two teams in the CL. Oh, what's that you say - after being drilled in dour, negative footy for 3 years, the madrid players couldn't break the habits they developed under TSO?
Gutless performance by Madrid. Remind me again how much they paid to assemble that squad.

Two days of unwatchable Champions League football (today's also unlistenable). Could you imagine the snorefest that would be Chelsea v. Real Madrid?

To be fair AC Milan sat back and hit you on the break. Remember the first half in Istanbul

The games today should provide a welcome respite from the dross served up the last couple days.

I didn't mind the Real/Munchen match. one could see the tactical game in it. Benzema's breakout was special. As opposed to Mourines anti football/spoiler tactics.
There's just so much at stake these days.

Sunday, I feel we'll get the sort of match that would have been played if we were in that semi.

Benefica scored in the second minute against Juve. The match is already more exciting than the Chelsea-Athletico match.

Surprisd that Oscar Cardozo never got scooped up by a bigger league - especially when he was in top form back in 2009-2012

Tevez equalizes for Juventus with the away goal - and his first goal in European competition in FIVE years!

Wooo - heck of a move by Benefica - slick and incisive passing and beautifully smashed strike past Buffon.

    2-1 Benfica.

Sevilla almost assure themselves of a place in the final. 2-0. Very open and entertaining game.

If we are to add a player to the midfield this summer, please let it be Rakitic....

Carlos Bacca is making quite a name for himself as well. 20 goals this season in all comps for a 17 year old.

Ugh, 4 from my fantasy are injured and likely all out for the season.
