Dont think anyone predicted Shimizu to be that bad, did they? If you look at who they have beaten, its not exactly powerhouses, so nothing strange there. Kofu, Omiya and Tokushima in addition to Nagoya in what was Nishino's first game in charge of them. If you look at their other games, they were outplayed by Marinos and Cerezo, lucky to get a point vs Urawa etc. Not gonna give too much weight on their 2 cup-wins, as lot of the teams use b-string squads there anyway.
Where is that injuries + suspensions thread I made last season, we should keep track of them if possible, or at least would be nice to have a thread where all is noted
Leandro out for 6 weeks. http://blog.reysol.co.jp/news/2014/016563.html https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=V11LMxNyBRU#t=95 1:35
Cerezo was actually unlucky not to win today, they missed several chances. It was not Popovic's fault today imo. Who did you felt performed the best beside Forlan obviously?
Yamaguchi was outstanding. For me he's the real can't-miss prospect at Cerezo and clearly one of the best players in the league.
The ball was snatched from him once or twice, I think. Anyway, there seems to be some communication problems between the teammates with quite a number of mis-placed passes. How did you felt Ogihara and Aria performed today by the way?
