Their crosses and corners will become a real threat once Muller is subbed on.

yes, Iker needs to distribute the ball better. Its never been a strength but he needs to help the team and do better.

I hope we find a way to. I think that is very important for us.

His distribution has always been poor, but today it has been even worse. Too many quick turnovers of the ball setting up their counter. The worst part is that our players aren't even set so we're left open. He has to be more efficient with the ball.

This is too true, the players just need to keep it together and move the ball as a team, we look really disjointed at times.

It's not an overreaction to say we could've killed this tie tonight had we taken the chances.. really frustrating, but have faith we can do it second half.

I think if we had Bale instead of Di Maria today, we'd get a lot more directness. We need people who can straight up charge their central defenders. Ronaldo is having a weak game so far, Bale could've intensified it. I won't be surprised if he plays at least 30 minutes.

I think everyone would like more possession, but at what cost? If we throw a player forward do they start to break us down through the middle with their passing instead of the hopeful Alaba cross?

This will be key for us. I hope we can remain focused, not lose our cool and play intelligent. Move the ball quicker after getting it back and finish our chances... all of them.

They are going to come at us in waves like a tsunami. We need to buckle in for the ride.

Very glad to read that Xabi has had a solid game so far, we need him to keep it up. Missed chances have become second nature for us now.

We need to come out with intensity in the first 15/20 mins of this half and convert a good chance if we're able to create it, from there we will just continue to exploit them with our pace for the rest of the game and 2nd leg, here's hoping.

2-0 is the minimum. 2-1 won't be enough IMO.

this is all assuming we can nap one or two in munich (which i think is realistic)

but 3-1 would be the best and most realistic

Iker has been very poor with distribution so far. It is hurting us.

Benzema's hold up play is fantastic and his movement and everything. He started that move in his own half and then finished it. Good team goal though.

Agreed, Di Maria has been practically invisible today, he aint even marking that b1tch Alaba, who is practically moving from the left flank and into the midfield. Sure, hope we can unleash the Bale while we are still in the lead .

Problem is that you all depict possession as Barca shitty tiki-taka and its problems. You can still defend properly, and playing more involved game.... Yeah but but we have fast players...yes that is why you play direct and fast.
