This is just an assumption. Strootman hit the ground running immediately. As did Benatia. Marquinhos was our signing of the year last season and we replaced him fine. Same with Lamela No he doesn't. He had one bad injury through out his entire career and has been completely healthy since returning. We did that, literally just last season. I don't understand how people just assume that Roma's management are too stupid to add depth next summer. The team really only needs two more quality players for its first 11. A left back and a dynamic winger/striker. That's it. The rest of the money will most likely be invested completely into adding depth to the squad. And we really don't have an aging or red card prone squad. Roma are actually one of the youngest teams in Italy, and we rarely have players sent off. DDR and Destro are completely isolated incidents.
