I would be worried about Portuguesa dropping to Serie C if it wasn't for Argel ********ss. They are losing 3 players in there starting 11 and no replacements look likely. At least they kept Rondinelly. They should just prepare for Serie B instead of grasping at straws trying to get back in the Serie A.

Yea, the three times I saw him he looked good but it's tough to judge due to competition/3volantes on the pitch. He has been a regular since Argel took over but Rudnei is starting over him tonight..

they added a lot of players from the carioca and paulista so it should be interesting to see. Cascata was fun to watch with Boavista.

    JOGO É PARALISADO!

Oficial de justiça conversa com quarto árbitro, e o jogo é paralisado.

Jonatas came on late in the 2nd half for Icasa and played a beautiful pass on a counter that should have been an assist.

For the Felipe Bastos hater, after he left Vasco couldn't keep the ball in the midfield, Douglas is that last ball kind of player, Vasco needs somebody like Felipe Bastos.

Aranda and Danilo completely disappeared after Bastos left. Montoya did good, but taking Bastos out was a mistake, should have kept him as a segundo volante, backed him up and put Montoya in Danilo's place.

Marquinhos on the other hand was a good sub, but somebody needs to talk to that kid about throwing himself on the floor trying to get a PK instead of following up with a play where he was going to be clear on the goal.

Lastly. Rafael Vaz is just a bad defender, he needs to be moved into DM if he is to actually have a good career.

He's a prototypical target man. He isn't very good with the ball at his feet and in build up, he doesn't add much other than holding the ball. He's a decent finisher though, at least at Fla and Sao Caetano.

Avai is pretty terrible if things didn't change so quick i'd say they are relegation candidates. I watched them lose to Brangatino at home on Tuesday and Cleber Santana limped off after 6 minutes lol. I also saw highlights of America Rn kicking their ass before that.

They have a decent squad on paper for Serie B, but they've been in shambles all year.

Parana's defense was pathetic today. Claudinei is in over his head this is going to get ugly quick. Two nice goals by Jael but the defending was to suspect not to score. I am finding the Serie b extremely entertaining this year.
