Granted I was a little tired, but yesterday was the first time I actually fell asleep watching football. My God, that Atletico vs chelski game was horrid.
Ok - I hate Wynalda and Gus Johnson - but they are making fun of Mourinho and yesterday's game to no end. "After 60 minutes yesterday, I wanted to go home." LOL -- There's no doubt that Bayern played down to the level of ManU in the last round. They are putting on a clinic against Madrid (at the Bernebeu) in the first 15 mins - Madrid can't get the ball from them. Yeah there will be ebbs and flows - but this is the "real" Bayern so far.
WOW! what a counter attack by Madrid. Sure goal blocked at the other end, and Benzema finished the counter. All against every bit of run of play. 1-0 Real. And 10 mins later another counter and Ronaldo misses a sitter from 12 yrds out!!!
Ironically - a lot of crosses from Bayern today as well - granted they aren't all the awful wide crosses that Atletico was doing - but not very bothersome to Casillas. -- though he's awesome - it must be great being a teammate of Robben knowing that 9.5/10 he has no interest in passing.
Ancelotti has them playing negative Morinho ball. This is what JoSay would like to do with Chel$ki but they don't have the counter attackers. Crossing against this won't work -- gotta get to the by line and put their back four under more pressure. I would sacrifice Lamm or Sweinie for Muller and ask them some more difficult questions. And yes Robben is one selfish bastard -- he makes ******** Ronaldo look altruistic.
