hmm. before he was scoring goals and getting assists. what has happened to him now? is he not given game time no more?
nothing happened. The team isn't very good this year, (esp. defense) it's his first season in europe as a 19years old coming from J2, and he's the top scorer of the team (tie)
Lost 4-0, didnt play. neither did frey They are still in europa league position. But i think Yuya Kubo has no other team who would take him in europe. Best stay at YB
He's the greater delusion between the japanese newcomers (in Europe) after that amazing beginning. What a pity...
He's possibly one of the most positive japanese abroad of the season actually, but keep those insane expectations on players Yeah I see that they got 2 red cards, damn I don't see why Yuya would have any reason to leave Young Boys, especially after his first season in Europe.
FT Thun 0 - 3 Young Boys half-time: (0 - 2) match details : 12' Dennis Hediger 13' 0 - 1 Renato Steffen 28' 0 - 2 Michael Frey 43' Marco Schneuwly 57' Nicolas Schindelholz 90' 0 - 3 Yuya Kubo
Great season for him, I'm happy he caught the manager and the club's attention despite his weird transfer saga. All his goals were real quality ones, too.
If all the shichinin reserves injured themselves in harakiri style he will be called as a reserve and than you will need only an incident in the main 23 men to bring him in Brazil. Impossible is nothing.
Quite an interesting interview with the coach Uli Forte. @1:25 the interviewer asks him which player is going to "explode" next season. (In different words: "Which player will be able to surprise everybody next season?) And Forte replies it will be Yuya. I really didn't expect him to say that since he didn't get that much playing time lately. The interviewer asks him after this short answer why he thinks it will be him and Forte replies: "Because he has the potential to do so. He's been here for a year now and he finally acclimatized himself in Bern."
MLG-Cup, YB - Sochaux 1:0. Tor: 72. Kubo. http://t.co/AHQBQ2oZlb #bscyb— BSC YOUNG BOYS (@BSC_YB) July 8, 2014 Kubo with the only goal into the MLG cup between Young Boys and FC Sochaux, a side relegated from Ligue 1. According to the description, it seems like a beauty as usual. Will link video if I find it.
Yuya Kubo played all the 2nd half in BSC Young Boys's last pre-season match against FC Wil 1900. The game ended 1-1. @4:00 Kubo hit the post. Too many posts and bars hit by Japanese abroad players this week
Yea my mistake. The one at 4:00 seems to be taller than Kubo. But I heard Kubo hit the post. So I think that must have been him. Apparently BSC hit the post 3 times.
