Industrious performance on Saturday vs Arminia Bielefeld. Played the 2nd half as the #10 with Bobby Wood playing CF. He showed some fire and mixed it up with an Arminia player on one occasion.

Unfortunately not many chances to show Osako's quality, but he played a great through ball to Wood near the end of the game - wasn't converted though.

I think Osako is not playing at his full potential so far due to lacking confidence.

I think Osako is too good for Bundesliga 2

I think in Bundesliga1 he would not get hired by any team higher than consistent mid table quality if he played and performed as he currently is. But if he played with confidence, and played like he did against Netherlands, he should be playing for a Top 4 team in Bundesliga1 like Schalke, Bayern, Dortmund or Leverkusen.

I think Osako is just as good as Son Heung-min and no better

Another year of 2. Bundesliga wouldn't be so bad. But in a promotion-battle team... which 1860 is not. At least not now.

I think confidence is the last of Osako's problems actually. He's doing well, but often you have to be helped by the team to do even better. See Okazaki in Stuttgart and now.
Also Son and Osako are completely different players...
In any case, I think he can aim to pull off an Inui already this summer, I hope so...

But given the financial background, as we hear, most probably will be.

Are you trying to jinx him? :p
Can we call it "pulling off a Honda" instead?

Why are you comparing both of them? Osako is a no.9, Son is not.

I think he played even better in the 2nd half. Often came back and build up our counters. Played like a "hängende Spitze" as we call it. Gave the assist to a big chance that another guy -not to be named here- bottled.

Excellent goal. i had NO idea at all until today that osako is both left and right footed. what a great asset he is going to be for JNT come the future.

When i think of a player who is good with both his left and right foot. i think of a player in the same level as beckham. i think their is goods things yet to come for Yuya Osako.

Basically he ruined Greuther Furth's chances of going back to Buli.

Naw, Fürth is still in second for now. Paderborn has to win tomorrow and then keep that lead. Fürth will still have the third sport sewn up which means they play the #16 BL team. But there are two more games to play.

    Also for the Sechzigers here..

    First goal in a while?
"The shot came off just as I intended. Good thing I scored because I'd been missing a lot of chances lately. Zaccheroni-san was here, right?"

You showed him what you're capable of.
"I still need to show more. I'll work hard to improve."

You've been playing the #10 role as well.
"I can get more touches and get into a rhythm. It helps in terms of playing with more cohesion. I think it's made a difference."

German reports say that you're set to move in the summer.
"I can't really comment on that. What's important is to do my best in the remaining two matches."

    The World Cup follows.
"Of course. By playing teams near the top of the table like Fürth I can continue to grow and develop better instincts - it's important to keep building on my work. I want to go into the tournament in good form."

i think if he got an offer from koln he would take it.

i also think koln would try to get his signature before the world cup as they may fear that based on his performance at the world cup. other teams maybe after him.

their willing to take the risk as his buy out clause is very low compared to other world class players

Furthermore it's not even guaranteed that he will play many minutes at the WC.
