I think Mourinho will be very happy with a 0-0 draw. He's going with Mikel, Luiz, Lampard, Ramires, and Torres. Not a very offensively leaning squad.

Atelti shot themselves in the foot a few times on their counters. Dumb bicycle attempts from Costa also wasteful. But result is actually better for them. 1-0 away. 1-1 away and they win
I like am a lot, but with this scoreline, it's gonna be in the favor of Mourinho second leg. As long as neither bayern or rm win the cup I'm happy.
Not necessarily in favor. 2/3 possible results favor Atleti. Outscoring or holding Atleti to zero when you yourself need to score to avoid ET/PKs is not an ideal task to take on.
I would agree with you if it was any other manager but Mourinho. Not to mention a lot of stuff Simeon uses, Mourinho has mastered. Team quality wise, I think Atletico have the better overall team. Especially with the injuries to Terry and cech. But, I just can't help but feel that at this stage it's about tactics and Mourinho loves that stuff. The fact that he went to Spain and played for a draw tells me he's confident that he can put it away at home, in front of thousands of fans. He's trying to create a "historic" victory. And then if he loses he'll just pout. Lol

Really think youre underestimating how smart Simeone is. He outsmarted Mourinho when Mou was with Madrid. He nearly outsmarted Ancelotti who has a better team this year. And has consistently fncked Barcas gameplan up. Atleti are built for games/ties like this. Theyre gonna walk into the Bridge and beat Chelsea. They inched closer and closer as the game progressed today. They were wasteful at key moments. Chelsea were Chelsea. Ive seen this performance several times already.
