I will be in Pipa from 17 - 19... I hear good things about Pipa.... havent heard much of anything about security though. I have not read anywhere that it was an issue in the 1st place...
Anybody interested in a CAT2 Japan-Greece ticket in Natal?.. I know that CAT1's are available on the FIFA platform, but Im offering this ticket for $100 plus shipping if anyone is interested.
My boyfriend and I will be in Natal from 6/16-6/18. Anyone have extra room space? Would love to rideshare and hang with some fun people.
Pipa!!! I will be there from June 18-20. Before that Natal (June 15-18) and after in Recife (June 20-28). If any of you match up with those dates hit me up for some beers!
Yes. It will open 22 May. So your flight will arrive/depart at/from the new airport. Unless you have an executive jet - for those they'll keep the old airport open. DC United10 - I'm on that same flight to Natal and got vayama to switch to the long layover too in Miami. No way I want to chance a 30 minute layover for an international flight. The good thing about the long layover is that it's timed well to watch a bunch of games that afternoon before the night flight to Sao paulo. What day are you going? im heading down the 13th
I have not heard about any security issues in Pipa. In fact part of the reason we are staying there is because I feel that its safer/calmer than Natal. We'll be there June 14 - 17
Sounds good.. I havent done much research yet as to where the good bars are to watch games over there... but I will start looking and post whatever I find here...
yeah i have spoken to a few friends from the area of recife (3 in total) and they all mentioned great things about Pipa. party central at night and peaceful atmosphere during the day. hostel availability is abundant in that area so i will probably go ahead and book for Pipa!
@clubamericalara since you have friends in the Recife area can they recommend good bars in Recife to watch other WC games? Please let me know if they can name a couple. Thanks.
Guess I'll still be flying into the old airport then..... Pfftt...I wish.... I'll be in Pipa 12-16th Natal 16-20th Fortaleza 20-22nd and Recife (well Porto de Galinhas) 22-27th Fortaleza 27-30th I'm down to play some beach soccer or get together to watch some games if my dates match up with any of you guys.
I am flying out on the 15th, getting to Natal the day 16th (day of the US match). I agree, watching the matches at the airport will certainly make the layover seem much shorter.
I am indeed! Mexico and the US really. Seeing Mexico vs Cameroon and Croatia and the US vs Ghana and Germany. Really wanted to get Mexico vs Brazil tickets but man those are hard to come by. I'm really hoping Mexico make it out of the group in 2nd place, historically it seems like good odds, since the last time they didn't make it out of the group stage was in 1990 and that's because they weren't in that tournament at all.
so, question... what are you guys doing on your off days? I know there will be a fan zone somewhere in natal but no idea where but what about other activities?
Go get a ride in a dune buggy.. I hear that's awesome.. I hear you can also do all kinds of surfing, ride camels, visit the giant cashew tree, Sandboard... etc.. hang out in ponte negra..
Beach, beers and watching games at bars. And beach soccer hopefully! Dune buggy ride is on my to-do list as well.
i will be in natal for 2 weeks . ive been reading about socket adapter for charging phones and laptops and what not but haven't got a definitive answer . anybody know about this
