I have the scanner to chill on some games to get an email when they become available while I'm away. I noticed that when this happens it stops searching. When you update, would you be able to make it keep searching when it finds tickets on chill?
I got 2 tickets to US-Germany thanks to the app earlier today. It was running on my home computer, and e-mailed my smart phone quickly enough for me to log into FIFA.com on my work computer and get the tickets. Worked like a charm.
I didn't have Scorpyn's app set to add them to the basket, just to e-mail me. I was able to add them to my cart at work the tickets were gone.
Wait. Now that I think about it, it will just keep sending me emails. Maybe an auto - scan a minute or two later?
I get an error saying telnet is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
Mine defaults to WC final tickets and doesn't allow me to add anything else as add button does not work!
Thanks Scorpyn. After failing in all previous rounds I finally managed to get a ticket to match 56 in Salvador.
I have scanner 1.0.0.2 installed. I thought this version could run with a 5 second scan, but the lowest option I have is 10 seconds, which I thought was version 1.0.0.1. Is there something I need to change, or did I read something wrong. Also, I am unable to locate scanner.config.exe file. I have opened task manager and right clicked the scanner instance, but do not have "open file Location" option. I have also checked the the file folder and chose the option to show hidden files. No luck. I am running Windows 7 professional. Glad to hear people have been able to get tickets.
You need to go to Processes tab in Task Manager and look for Scanner.exe. Right clicking on that should give you "open file location" option. Minimum scan frequency is 10 seconds. 5 Seconds would be too aggressive if a lot of people are using it.
Thanks. 10 seconds makes sense. I just thought I read in a post that 5 seconds was available on this version. I must have just misread it. Thanks again for taking the time to develop the application and allowing others to use. Hope you are able to obtain what you need for friends.
When I get a notification email from the scanner (which is on my computer at home) I probably won`t be able to login at work at my account and buy the tickets which are in my basket? I tried this at home with different browsers and it seems that it doesn`t recognizes the tickets in the basket. So I have to use the same computer right? Or use a standby helicopter to get me home within 15 minutes...
You mean access to your computer at home from another location? That would mean a lot more knowledge of this subject, not really for me I am afraid.
Yesterday I installed Teamviewer in my son's tablet. The scanner runs in my computer at home and I was able to access it from the Tablet. Awesome ! By this way, you'll be able to manage the purchase remotely when you receive an email informing that a game was added to your cart.
If the scanner finds and reserves tickets, will these appear in your regular Fifa account, or only in the account of a computer running the scanner?
Reserved 5ickey Reserved tickets stay in the session you are logged in with inside the scanner. Bought tickets go to your fifa account.
