Don't say that here. If you do one of the villiage idiots (why are there so many now days?) will come and give you a stern talking to about how this is Madrid, how we should win 10-0 walking off the bus yet whine about how our president sucks, players suck and how we won't win anything. Oh wait.

I agree with the counter too. Run them off the pitch. Speed is our advantage all year while it may not be aesthetically pleasing to the eye and downright makes a fan nervous, it is our strengths. As long as we win.

If you guys venture to the Bayern message board they will echo my sentiments. They are actually talking about how to defend us if we counter. They have even mentioned how fearful that their CB's wouldn't be able to handle BBC.

They play real tight on defense and BBC is just too big and fast for them. I expect penetration up the middle and other holes that are available in the back.

Is this the current state of the forum ? When me or someone else with knowledge of the game says something different we used to discuss it/ argue about it. I know it's interesting to stir the pot every once in a while to change the mood, but the effect of your comment was filled with nothingness. It was a useless comment, an unexpected comment by a supposed forum veteran.

Here's an idea : If you quote me address my post.

Thank you for calling me an OG and holy. I'll take both as a compliment as I am not going to be responding to " you're a troll" comments seriously.

I just love football and you make this a personal issue. C'mon no need for the aggressive attitude.

Against a team like Bayern, we could really use Di Maria in midfield...

A few weeks ago I would have still given Bayern the edge over Real, now I am not so sure anymore. Winning the league so early may have been bad for the team, they seem to have lost a lot of their tension and edge, not sure, that they can just turn it back on for their games vs Real, while Real has picked up steam recently, will be an interesting match for sure.

Unlike a lot of people here I would not underestimate Bayerns defense though. They seemed weak mostly, when Pep was playing his wired "push the fullbacks up into central midfield" tactics which results in a 2-3-4-1 kind of formation when you look at the average positioning and leaves acres of space on the wings for counterattacks. I highly doubt Pep will play that way vs Real, it would be suicide. I expect a more conservative tactical approach, with the fullbacks actually staying on the wing.
Even with their recent dip in form denying them a goal for a whole match will be an enormous task, they are notorious for playing the full 90 minutes and sadly Reals defense is known to have the occasional snafu along the way when players just get outsmarted, because they stop thinking for a while. A solid defense is key to beat Bayern, no two ways about it. Dortmund do it by pressing very coordinated all over the pitch, but that kind of play needs practice, I think the game vs Barca was a good blueprint to build off from and improve. I was really annoyed, when Barca made it 1:1 because Real threw away a lot of chances before that and didn't make it 2:0 so although team play was really good in that match it needed a individual stroke of brilliance from a single player again in the end to win it. I don't know if this will do against Bayern.

Looks like Ronaldo is going to be able to play but Bale might not be able to
