Gotta make sure we do everything the same - Liverpool 35 25 5 5 52 80 Chelsea 35 23 6 6 41 75 Man City 34 23 5 6 56 74
Are Villa really playing for anything? At this point it looks like we may need a big favor from Everton, who out of City's remaining opponents are the only ones really playing for anything, right?
Villa have managed to help us with both Citeh and Chelski at Villa Park this year. That being said, I don't expect them or West Ham to do us any favors at the Etihad. However, I didn't expect QPR to give Citeh problems on the final day back in 2012.
Villa have been dragged into the relegation fight. They seemed to be in the clear but the injury to Benteke has seen them go on a nasty run of form.
Big numbers indeed...This is were Everton comes in. I know the guys who said that they were Everton fans next week, meant it only that they hope Everton takes the points. Me, I hate the bitters even though I'd go to Goodison every other week when the reds were away. Always good for a laugh and some serious banter. If the Arse had drawn today it would have given the blues plenty of encouragement. I hope Everton don't win.... I wouldn't be so mean as to begrudge them a draw though.
I can't fathom Citeh taking all 9 pts from their remaining matches without Yaya. They'll screw it up.
I think it's good Arsenal won yesterday: puts more pressure on Everton to go all-out (specially vs Citeh) for that 4th spot.
Might be talking out of his ass like he did when he said we had already won the league a week ago and the week before that.
We are still top of the league with 2 matches to go. We win out I would give us a 50/50 shot of winning this sucker. We can still do it!
From what I know, Yaya has recovered from his groin injury and played the last match, and is fit now. For the love of God and my fantasy team please please please let me know if he's injured!
One thing to note - and while it may be grasping at straws - Citeh have to play not only Everton @ Goodison who are fighting for the CL, but also Villa who have been drawn into the relegation battle, as well as the always difficult bus parking Allardyce. So it really is feasible that they have 3 somewhat difficult games remaining in which we can hope they drop points.
Villa may be hopeless, and Everton isn't exactly on great form recently. But, I don't think Allardyce will roll over for City. He likes attention and "winning the title for Liverpool" would get major attention. Plus, their captain, Kevin Nolan, is a Liverpudlian and closet-LFC fan. I think he'll work his ass off if picked.
THIS. I'll feel a lot better (ecstatic if Citeh drop points) after we've successfully collected the 3 pts. from them.
