I guess we have to hope for Southampton or Man City to give us some breathing room.

this Dutch Cup final between Ajax and Zwolle has been insane. Flares, fires on the pitch, Van De Sar came out to tell the fans to calm down.

And Ajax getting tonked 5-1 although they scored this rocket

Ajax are getting pulvarized, it's embarrassing.

wouldn't be surprised if FdB replaces Martino.

If I bet 100 dollars on the opponents of Chelsea, Ajax, United, and City, I'd probably be millionaire by now.

Barcelona and Spurs have spent their 100m euros in the baddest possible way they could.

Barcelona should have addressed their problems in defense, and find a good replacement for Xavi like Kroos.

Alexis and Pedro are still good enough to be regular starters, and Neymar and Messi don't seem to work well together when both are on the pitch at the same time.

I've seen this argument about 1,000 times already, and it's a blatant penalty. Literally no more needs to be said about it.

I've seen worse given, and as far as seeing the likes of Chelsea and United lose because of poor refereeing decisions?

There's absolutely no attempt to play the ball by the defender. Yes, it was a bit of a dramatic tumble by Altidore, buts its a penalty. He made no attempt to play the ball and he hooked the attackers leg out from under him.

Accidental?!? Again, he attempted a tackle but made no attempt to play the ball. That's a foul and since it happened in the area its a penalty.

    Kroos isnt really a Xavi-type

They had a Xavi replacement, his name is Thiago Alcantra. Unfortunately they blew it last season by not playing him the requisite number of games which would have extended his contract and risen his buyout clause. Now Thiago is looking like the next Xavi at Bayern and Barca look flabby and sickly.
