Happy Easter to all my Christian friends in this forum. Here is a little something by a guy called George Friderik Handel, one of the most beautiful worship songs ever written. Cheers!

    Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
    Hallelujah! Hallelujah!

For the Lord God Omnipotent reigneth.
    Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!

For the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.
    Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
    Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!

    The kingdom of this world
Is become the kingdom of our Lord,
    And of His Christ, and of His Christ;
And He shall reign for ever and ever,
For ever and ever, forever and ever,

King of kings, and Lord of lords,
King of kings, and Lord of lords, :|
    And Lord of lords,
    And He shall reign,
And He shall reign forever and ever,
King of kings, forever and ever,
    And Lord of lords,
    Hallelujah! Hallelujah!

And He shall reign forever and ever,
King of kings! and Lord of lords!
And He shall reign forever and ever,
King of kings! and Lord of lords!
    Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
    Hallelujah!

And for a lighter version, here is Handel's song as interpreted by Mexican comedian Cantinflas

Not sure if I ever posted this from Sui Generis. One of my favorite songs as a teen, about growing up and losing your faith.

    My translation of the lyrics:

Tell Me Who Stole Him Away
(By Sui Generis - Nito Mestre and Charlie Garcia)

Standing by the window, we looked out at the sun
the sky, the clouds and God
I knew how to believe, the irrational story,
the fairy, the witch and you
I knew how to run, I was able to laugh
I also think that I was happy

The school was there, waiting for me
    my playground, my brown bench.
Everything went well if I knew the lesson
    history, english or love
Always the same with my teacher
he was the one who was always right

One day I discovered that I began to grow
    I felt, I cried, I believed
Suddenly I was a male who didn't have a female
and I wanted to try to get one
What a fool I was! she laughed at me
what could I do? I also laughed.

Now I look back a bit
and it seems so long ago
    and everything that I loved
is not mine anymore, it got away
And now I am so confused
    Fog and smoke everywhere
    Where is the sun?
    where is God?
Tell me who stole him away

And I go for a walk
    And start to reminisce
my house, my father and Jesus
And now I have to choose
    it's time to depart
my life, my love and my light
    I don't know well
    what I will do
    I want my faith
    I want to believe

Am I not a perfect God?

Certainly a strong indictment on the way many people see their God.
