I wouldn't mind seeing a 4-2-3-1 with James,Quintero, Cuadrado and Jackson up front in a friendly but Pekerman has been very faithful to 4-4-2 but who can blame him?
I thought Pekerman preferred 3 man back line? I believe he only gave it a shot against Ecuador? Never really gave it another shot.

And who can blame him once again after that result.
Ecuador was dancing the ball around us late in the match with possession.

He seems in love with James and Cuadrado starting in a 4-4-2. Hence, I believe there is little chance the last two matches in Argentina we will see James and Quintero start. I did not say anything about Tunisia or past matches.

I don't remember Muriel playing left wing.

I do remember Cuadrado and James interchanging a lot on the wings and roaming free. It was a joy to watch them go from left to right , right to left and play like a Euro team.

Muriel was like a false striker coming from the wing, but he was totally invisible

    Invisible indeed.
The only play I remember is a close shot he had that was dangerous.

    ------------------------------sanchez------aguilar-------

    ----------------------macnelly----------------James-----

    ---------------------------------bacca---teo-----------

then Ibarbo came and the rest is history :)

And this is the point that I come from, Ibarbo came made an Impact and Pekerman stayed with the guy, Arias replaced Medina (who was first option) made an impact and same story, Quintero is used periodically because the kid clearly have talent; nobody doubt that and that's why Pekerman keep calling the kid; but I haven't seen any indication of Pekerman giving the kid an important role

Our hotbed of strikers plus our questionable defenders are making Pekerman age even more jeje

    Pekerman before
    [IMG]
    2 years later...
    Pekerman now
    [IMG]

If Pekerman's this focused about the World Cup I have no doubt Colombia at least makes the Quarterfinal with a good chance of making the Semi's.

The lighting of each photo and possibly the time of day are factors but it is still funny to compare the way he looks.
