a friend posted this on facebook and it remind me of the debate on here a while back about soccer players' top speed. it's from oct 2013 but its based on the highest speed recorded in a game, while running with the ball. http://balls.ie/football/fastest-football-players/
it's gotta be close because judging by this vid, valencia has jets. i think this was after his injury too.. what made bale's sprint today so incredible was that it was in the 84th minute.
x-post from nsr documentaries thread. the recent hillsborough espn 30 for 30 piece: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B325B_6t7Q3BTjFwM3lqTmlJaUU/preview?pli=1 very well done documentary.
There's something off about KJC's face. Wouldn't be surprised if it was supposed to be PCY after all, and they changed the face at the last minute but forgot to change the caption.
well done but they left out Anne Williams & Margaret Thatcher's role in the cover-up or at least how much she knew.
In that case, they screwed two up. The larger korean player photo is of Koo Ja Cheol. Park Chu Young is the much smaller photo on the side.
i didn't know a thing about the hillsborough tragedy except about that it involved the death of 96 liverpool fans so the documentary was really compelling for me. i see there's more to it though.
Thing I enjoy most about zlatan is his mental fortitude. Would love to see our top players exemplify some flavor of his confidence in self. Would love to be a teammate of his. Tough to hear over the interpreter but if you want it you'll get it.
