The 48 clubs in the 2012-2013 Europa League Group Stage made an average of 3,952,238.31 (I'm assuming in Euros). Hapoel Tel Aviv made the second least which was 1,677,131 and Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona made the least which was 1,550,131. http://www.uefa.com/MultimediaFiles/Download/uefaorg/Finance/01/97/53/15/1975315_DOWNLOAD.pdf
not surprised, their stadiums don't hold enough, not nearly enough. and Israel just sucks at marketing their teams, I mean its unbelievable how few people in Israel even have jersey's of their teams. Plus most Israelis you meet will say they think their local clubs suck and just support Barca :s
Hi, This was an interesting PDF, I'm looking for more information on money in football in Israel, if anyone can help I'd be very grateful 1) what are the salary budgets for each team 2) how much do teams get from TV money 3) how much do teams win in prize money from the league and the cup Any ideas how to get this info will be appreciated.
Unfortunately I don't know how much Israeli clubs spend or what the domestic prize money is and you might need to be able to read Hebrew in order to find out.
i didnt' find anything online about it, i read and speak some hebrew. their budgets are not premier league size, far from, but they don't have a salary cap and the big clubs like Maccabi TLV do spend a pretty shekel
I did some digging around and the best I found is this link (Hebrew). It states the income and profit for the 12/13 season I made a table from the info and deduced the budget from it:
surprised Beitar is so low, they were the richest team in Israel for a long time. Sad that Gadimyak just threw away the team after he couldn't be mayor of Jerusalem. Sad they changed their logo too, team really fell apart.
nah. honestly I felt that Arsenal and Chelsea were the most supported there. Chelsea I get because of Abromavic, but gunners... ugh
