Oswaldo will probably have to choose between Damiao or Gabigol against Sport unless he moves Cicero back to Volante. Gabigol scoring 2 today just adds to the pressure on damiao. Most Santos fans seem to be against Damiao already.

    With good reason.

Surprised to see that NotreDame has SP down for winning the league. They seemed especially crap in the Paulista.

I wasn't comfortable putting anybody to win. I actually think its wide open. SP was a Cruzeiro 2013 pick. I think they are a couple moves away from a top team in 2014, and they have the resources to go out to fill those holes. On the other side, If Pato completely flops and Fabuloso continues to regress, then that pick could turn out to be horrible.

I was really hoping that Damião would make some noise in the Paulista, but I was disappointed when I saw him. In afraid to say that Jo will probably be going to the Cup. When Gabriel started and Damião was out, Santos looked like a better team to me.

At this point Damião would have been a waste of money for R$4.2 million. Watching him struggle in 1v1 duels vs. Ituano's centerbacks was pathetic. It's tragic that he's going to keep starting, though, because of his price tag. This administration has dug a hole that most likely get large and larger.

it's just going to get worse for Daniao unfortunately. I have seen flashes and I still think he can play but his personality is to quiet and laid back to deal with this criticism. I actually feel bad for him.

They have a weaker team on paper than the previous 2-3 seasons.

Chape x Coritiba might have been the most boring match I've watched in my entire life.

Coritiba is going to be horrible this year. Alex doesn't have the legs to carry that team. The only things I like on that teams are their CBs and GK.

Botafogo is pathetic. Even Pato is picking them apart with passes...

Lucas Claro is the truth. Chape's manager was saying they truly belong in the serie a because Coritiba played them with 3 volantes lol.
