I don't want Leo as a winger. I'm just trying to explain what Hackworth might be thinking.

What I really do not want to see is Le Toux ever playing out wide on the right. How long has Hackworth been coaching Le Toux? He still doesn't realize that Le Toux is drastically more effective with his passes and attacking hustle playing as attacker centrally than he is out wide? I'd love to see as statistic of his passing success rate out wide versus in the central third of the pitch.

Has Sheanon Williams NOT crossed a ball clear off the field at any point this match?

Too bad Jack wasn't the one taking Wenger's shot.

A 0-0 draw the worst result other than a loss.

Why? At least when Wenger misses them he doesn't spend the next 3 minutes pouting.

This team gets progressively crappier against progressively crappier teams. What an abortion. At least they looked like something resembling a professional soccer team in the second half.

    I've said this elsewhere, but...

Giving the Union a man advantage is akin to spraying potpourri after you just dropped a big deuce. It really does not change the outcome.

The team is clearly not buying into the Hack system at this point. I'm officially on the new coach wagon.

It'd be funnier if we had a guy who laid on the ground pouting for three minutes.

Williams and Gaddis are just useless in attack. Neither has served a useful cross into the box the entire season. It's where attacks go to die.

The Union don't have a single player in the backline who is particularly skillful at passing. It affects the play of the team, unfortunately.

    Houston o- Niladelphia-0

One day, the city of Philadelphia will have a soccer club we can all be proud of. One whose coaching acumen is only exceeded by the talent on the field. A team who defends and attacks with ability, pace & aplomb. Who possesses the skill sets and depth required at every position to win trophies-or at least escape the scorn of their customers-all of whom thrill to their every sporting move..........

Unfortunately; that day is not today. More unfortunately.....I'm fairly certain I'm not going to live long enough to ever see it.

Tell me; what was the point of failing to provide crosses to 6 in the first half, only to then attempt nothing but air balls and sling-shots to center backs and toe-dipping forwards? Do I overthink this stuff?

Soccer is to boxing, as Fernandes is to tomato cans.

All this team will ever do is bunker and hoof to steal points. Doesn't matter who they ink. They will never figure out they signed and kept a bunch of the same guys-and routinely fit round pegs in square holes. A garbage operation from pillar to post. Time to admit you are who you are, and adjust your formation and tactics accordingly. Otherwise; I look forward to the next Top-Class MLS Superdraft plying their trade in Harrisburg.

honorable mention: Le Toux. Tried to run.

*** Okugo-a bit unlucky not to brace.

**-Carroll- does the dirty work nobody else (looking at you Mo) wants to do.

*MOTM: Wenger. knows he cannot score outside of 6 yds wide open with anything but his head, and compensated well today for that sad fact. Couldn't strike a match with his feet, but got in good positions after minute 5 and shared the ball well. Not his fault that on his would-be gw assist the Union once again shot themselves in their own foot. Literally.

    NEEDS !!!!!!!!!!!!!

    1. a REAL ORGANIZATION

    2. a real manager

    3). a real striker

    4) a real attacking fullback

    5). a real CB

    6). a real winger

    Nice job Nick...............................

I don't know why Nick is being blamed. Edu and Nogs are significantly better than anyone we have ever had. Maidana has a lot of potential too. Blame the manager who tries to shove everyone into a system that isn't working. We have the talent, but it is terribly misused.

Because you don't leave the rebuilding to an idiot when you're the CEO.
Because you didn't search for a real successor or vet the guy you feel comfortable blaming when you have the chance.
Because you were once involved with pink-and failed miserably. Think about that, U are pink's leftovers.

Because you are Jack & Casey single-high.

You aren't getting a pass either...........

Maidana was playing really well until he got yanked. I don't know why Hack took him off.

Can someone tell me when Williams received his lobotomy in the off-season? He has been un-spectacular this season. I think Gaddis has earned the right side find someone for the left.

I think Sarkodie is the best outside back in the league, but that was a spectacularly dumb yellow to take. Granted, normally a ref won't give a red for that, but still. Can't give the guy a reason to get you a second.

They looked better in the second half, but...how many saves did Hall have to make?

At a home game against an inferior opponent.
