Not necessarily. Although a win this Saturday against Stoke is vital!

If they play like they did in the first half of the season from here on out, I'd be surprised if we don't see the Tangerines stay up.

    Down 4-2.

It sucks to see Blackpool go down. One of the few "minnows" in the league that refused to park the bus. Ever.

Crap I hate being right on this one. What a likeable team; played an entertaining game of football. Hopefully will bounce back up. Maybe with a stronger backline.

Yes, in the off-season we need to work on strengthening the defense. We also need to work on the team's fitness in pre-season. It was very frustrating to see the team lose steam after 60-65 minutes (we lost or tied games we were winning late in the game.) We have to maintain our intensity for the full 90!

Egads, indeed. I watched that match yesterday. Pretty much sums up Blackpool's disastrous season.

With 1 point from their last 6 games, Blackpool is now in the relegation zone.

After a 2-0 win over Wigan Athletic yesterday, Blackpool is up to 18th. The season ends next week and Blackpool will survive unless, among other things, Doncaster wins at champions Leicester City.

What's the story with you lads this summer then? the new season is only two weeks away and you only have 8 registered players? are you going to be competing this season with youth players and trialists? it's all looking a bit Portsmouth'ish. :(
