The 17 year old Brad Walker who has been called up to the u18s has seemingly been doing well. Scored another one today for Hartlepool.
Yep. Jack Barmby assisted 2 for them in the same match. Not like he's anywhere close to be back on the England fold though.
Reports claiming Barca are interested in Diego Poyet: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...on-Diego-is-a-shock-target-for-Barcelona.html
https://vine.co/v/M5ungBj9jmv Another cracker by James Wilson today. Rothwell scored a good goal as well.
Chelsea's third goal was particularly good. Lovely through ball from Swift and the smallest dink over the keeper from Baker.
Moyes has just said that he will try to give Wilson a game before the end of the season and planned to bring him on against Newcastle had he not been forced to make other subs.
Pity Wilson came off with a bit of an injury on Thursday in the u21 game - was hoping he'd get a go today.
Hopefully it's just a precaution. He's the only player among the U21s that sounds like could get a chance in United first team this season - apart from Varela maybe but he's not English.
Baker got two more yesterday, he's got 16 in all competitions now from 30 appearances. Was a class apart and for me is too good for Under-21 football now. Would love to see him get a genuinely influential Championship loan next season at worse because he thrives when he's given license to put the team on his back and take command. England 19s have clearly allowed him to do that too.
One of my most favourite player from Chelsea academy.Hope he'll get a better loan than Chalobah (my other favourite) and McEachran.
I like him as a player but he will probably be sold to a Championship or lower EPL team sooner or later like 99.9% of Chelsea youth team players
Add another apiece for Baker and Swift last night. Gotta think Baker's in with a shout of going to Toulon if the dates don't clash with the U21 League playoffs.
