reviving this thread because I transferred in Matic when he was already on Ryan's team (Hazmat+9). In my defense, Ryan hadn't updated the googledoc when I did my pre-trade search for his name (thanks for admitting that; I was going crazy thinking I had overlooked him) I just got a text from Tarv today that he was on another team, and it's too late for me to take him out for this week. I will transfer him out for week 27. I will go with the will of the league as far as penalties go, but I personally do not think I should have a penalty beyond losing Matic's points today. After seeing how many points Matic comes in with, I will try to get as close as I can to a without-Matic level of points by using excess transfers.

A more cynical thinker might have surmised that i purposefully threw the season to avoid being in a draft with 1-800-nomads once it became clear early on that you were set to return to the top division....
