wow, PJH is 28th in Kicker rating for defenders, 7th overall as Full-back & #3 for LB (behind Alaba and Rodriguez) http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/...iga/2013-14/topspieler-der-saison-abwehr.html
2-0 Mainz! Wolfsburg & Gladbach are both losing 1-0 atm. Good news for Mainz and their ambition to play in Europe next season. edit: nvm, 1-1 for Wolfsburg... nurnberg defense.
If Bayern reaches the finals (DFB Pokal), Mainz has a chance to go international. Number 7 on the Bundesliga table will be included in the Europa League. http://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/thomas-tuchel/warnt-vor-europa-35495396.bild.html
I can't read German but watch out because it should be EL playoffs, I think. You know, considering what happened to Stuttgart this year... thankfully Mainz will probably be better
He exclusively uses his strong foot, but how is that a bad thing? (The music and video effects in the video were awful...)
you become very limited as a player, and more predictable to defend when going forward. there are also times when you have to use ur weak foot. if u dont practice with it u will give the ball away
Sorry, but this is some bullshit reasoning one can apply to any player with some notable deficiencies. The point is players usually have some strong abilities and ideally one focus on those to make good use of them while avoiding running into situations that exacerbate any of the deficiencies. Deficiencies don't take away from the abilities, but what they do is taking away (tactical) flexibility. So in case of PJH he better not be put into inverted positions (if his right foot is really that bad, in the video the only use of it I remember seeing was a clearance).
Tuchel still not worried about Koo http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/...l_tuchel-gibt-koo-noch-zeit.html#omsmtwkicker
