For people who have seen more Lens matches this year than me, Is there real hope that Lens will keep it together and get promoted or will they crush our dreams of having another great stadium atmosphere in L1 again? Any investment coming in the January window?

Do get both Metz and Lens up this year would be a major win for french football.

What do you think about Ntep of Auxerre going abroad? I wish he could stay in France but English teams have too much money to throw around. I might vomit if he goes to QPR and looks like they are in on him.

^ Looks like a big crowd for a Ligue 2 match. Ligue 2 attendance isnt that good other than Lens and Nancy. Everyone else less than 50% capacity average. Bad.

    http://www.ligue1.com/ligue2/affluences/journee

Here we can get a comparison between Serie B and Ligue 2 attendance. Compare them because its prettty close. English and German 2nd divisions are way ahead obviously.

    Serie B 1 team over 10,000+ avg.
    Ligue 2 3 teams over 10,000+ avg.

    Serie B 2 teams over 9,000+ avg.
    Ligue 2 1 team over 9,000+ avg.

    Serie B 1 team over 8,000+ avg.
    Ligue 2 2 teams over 8,000+ avg.

    Serie B 0 teams over 7,000+ avg.
    Ligue 2 3 teams over 7,000+ avg.

    Serie B 1 team over 6,000+ avg.
    Ligue 2 1 team over 6,000+ avg.

    Serie B 5 teams over 5,000+ avg.
    Ligue 2 1 team over 5,000+ avg.

    Serie B 5 teams over 4,000+ avg.
    Ligue 2 4 teams over 4,000+ avg.

    Serie B 4 teams over 3,000+ avg.
    Ligue 2 1 team over 3,000+ avg.

    Serie B 3 teams over 2,000+ avg.
    Ligue 2 3 teams over 2,000+ avg.

    Serie B 0 teams over 1,000+ avg.
    Ligue 2 I team over 1,000+ avg,

Serie B has 22 teams btw I dont know why. CA Bastia last in standings and attendance. They are too small to be professional hopefully we wont see them pro ever again.

Creteil is in the bottom 3. I hope they can stay up. We need as many pro Parisien teams possible. Strasbourg really strugging, I hope they stay up too. It would be funny to see both Ajaccio's in Ligue 2 next year playing each other and its likely to happen. I dont wanna see it personally since Bastia and Ajaccio cant support 2 professional teams long term so it wouldnt last long anyway.

Read that Lens is a possible destination of Ochoa from Ajaccio. That would be huge for them. Their current GK is a PSG loan player. Probably a long shot if teams like Marseille and Milan are in the mix but at least Lens are showing ambition.

Luzenac has been promoted to Ligue 2. Good for them I guess but its a town with less than a 1,000 people and the stadium seats less thans 2,000 so I doubt they can sustain themselves as a professional club.

    \0/ Welcome back Metz!!

I like this team. Plus it has a Honduran on the reserve side in Ivan Moncada and I'm pretty high on Gnaly Cornet.
