Its ironic that this has been his best season, he has arguably not had a good adjustment to the life at the camp nou prior to this year. I think he has a point, he should have played, neymar and cesc should have been on the bench.

 

I'd argue him and Pedro should've played alot more and Cesc should be the one riding the bench.

It's like they are trying to force Cesc to fit in but it just isn't working.

I actually think he is a good player ( impressed me in his time in Italy ) but not sure he fits their system. Either way he is probably on his way out.

 

Another 1-0/2-0/2-1 victory for Atletico I'd say since it's Elche and they're playing at home, they've been scraping victories lately. We might see them slip up at Valencia or Levante before travelling to the Camp Nou, I don't think this is too unfeasible at all.

 

Elche have been the better team so far, how long they can keep it up for is another question entirely... :/

I thought Costa had a season ending injury, guess I was wrong. What did he miss a training session at the most?

 

I think the Valencia game is looking like the last real chance for us in the league. They need to drop points there and against Barcelona really, because I can't see it being anywhere else. At the moment I have no faith in Barcelona managing a result against them either to be honest. We may just have to prepare to suck it up and put everything towards completing the double and overshadowing a league win with La Decima.
