@Mengão86 How do you think 95 will be in DC in about 5 hours? Ive made the drive a few times during holiday weekends, and its always hit or miss. Sometimes I sail right through, sometimes its bumper to bumper.
Friday nights are usually heavy, but since this week is spring break, there might be a chance it's light. Commuting this week in general for me has been night and day.
With as many flex schedule games that they have this year I know i'll be seeing more NfC East than necessary.
Boo hoo... Don't love our schedule. Carolina, New Orleans, New England, @ GreenBay, and Arizona are pretty much already pencilled down as losses.
Although we match up okay with Carolina as they're a run-first offence that doesn't have anyone special other than Olsen catching passes from Newton, which works for us because we're starting to become okay at stopping the run outside of that one crazy Philadelphia matchup, but our secondary is horrible. Maybe we have a shot at the Panthers. @lawsonishere, I really hope all this talk about Bridgewater dropping isn't true, because I really don't want you to have a shot at drafting him. Kid's a baller, and anyone putting stock in his pro-day is an idiot because his tape shows a QB ready to contribute from day one. I'd be scared of a Bridgewater-led Vikings team.
I hope you're right a lot of mock drafts have Bortles falling to us . I know Bortles will be a bust but I have no idea on Manziel or Bridgewater.
At least they replaced the field turf with Grass so it isn't exactly like concrete. Still a terrible stadium though.
The troubling thing with Bortles is his mechanics are so fundamentally flawed that he needs to go somewhere where he won't start for a couple of years so he can break down those mechanics and implement more orthodox ones. And he's graded so high he'll need to start from day one when he isn't ready.
I thought I was the only one that thinks Bortles will be a bust. I'm already on record for saying that.
My main pet peeve is if they can take a hit in the pocket and not get happy feet. I agree about Bortles although he does look good with his footwork.
Haha I made a video 2 months ago about it. People are hyping him up the same way they did it for Blaine "the Plane" Gabbert.
I can't stand when people are so narrow minded to the point that they only focus on the physical tools. And let's be honest, he didn't face good competition and Baylor wasn't known for their D. I haven't seen enough out of him for the high grade he's receiving. As for the other two QBs, I've soured on them a bit, but I'm still fairly high on Manziel. I just don't see a top 10 QB and you know there will be QBs taken in the top 10.
It is annoying because once the hype gets going it usually doesn't stop. I wouldn't draft a qb in the top 10 this year but like you said someone will probably reach or trade up. Me and you have been skeptical of Bridgewater from the beginning , i'm just surprised the hype wore off with him. Either way it's a gamble I guess.
I am sort of expecting good ol' Jerry to trade up for Manziel if he makes it out of the top 10. I think he see $$$$ with him.
