Stabaek Mads Stokkelein leaves for NASL side New York Cosmos (Division II). Great addition for NY, not good for Stabaek.

The President in Norwegian football was a guest at the NSA seminar this weekend.
The rumor say the 3 visiting leaders was met with a lot of skepticism and many critical questions .
Lets just say Norwegian football has not been run or governed in a positive manner the last 2 years.

Hi, I write for a Columbus Crew blog called MassiveReport.com. I am looking for a Valerenga supporter to talk to me about Giancarlo Gonzalez. If you are willing or know of a Supporters blog that could help give me some information and thoughts about him I would appreciate it.

    From a Brann supporter :

Our new supporter sector without seats are getting ready for the season now.
Yesterday we supporters mounted steel seats and railings.

On the annual meeting of club one year ago we asked club to remove seats on one sector. They ddin't want it, but we mobilized and had many supporters on the meeting, therefore we won the voting.
After that we had to talk a lot with the FA, because with all their rules it was impossible to create a real sector without seats.
They were invited over to our stadium to see our plans, and later they have us permission to avoid some of the most stupid rules.
Capacity on this sector now goes from 500 fans to 1000!

Really great what we managed to do, especially considering the constant fighting against Modern Football!

The tragic events in Sweden last weekend has caused great debate in Norway as well. Media pours gasoline on the fire to maximize crisis here too. There is a legislative proposal in for processing to give police expanded opportunity to expel people who are associated with violent environments of cities or places on match days. The initiators of this law also forging while the iron is hot.
NSA (Norwegian Supporter Alliance) has written a small matter whether this could happen in Norway and we should be afraid to get killed on our way to a game.
    http://www.fotballsupporter.no/inde...-redde-for-a-bli-drept-pa-vei-til-fotballkamp

NFF ( Norwegian Football Association) has already hired a person to work fulltime with security within the two top leagues in Norway.

I hope for Sweden's part that one does not make any hasty actions in the heat of battle.

Great to see how Sweden has united and said enough is enough. Keep up the good work.

I think there will be 1 minute of silence in every match next weekend to show compassion and grief for those affected and Swedish football .

Not easy to give a full overview of tippeligaen now.

Rosenborg and Strømsgodset is out of the cup. (bomb) Perry (coach) is given "full" trust by the board.

Deila ( Strømsgodset coach ) is ready for Celtic. David Nielsen will take his place.
    Brann keep struggling .

LSK have announced a huge economic crisis. Missing arond 20 mill NOK. Still LSK is going strong in the league.

Vålerenga still struggling economic. Also in the top . Doffen (Hæstad ) is done in Vålerenga. Economic measures

Stabæk going strong with a place nr 6.

Vålerenga played LYN on Wednesday . A joyful reunion . To see the away section full for the first time in a couple off years . I mean this is now a level 3 club in Norway .

Worth mentioning that the Vålerenga pyro in just under the new VIP box on Ullevål stadium. The VIP box has a ventilation intake just over the pyro.
This means the stadium owner have to hire people to turn off the ventilation during the pyro in addition to the approval from the police , the fire department , NFF and the club.

Cool thread, thanks vifvaf for providing the vast majority of content. Wife grew up in Grefsen so when we're back in Oslo I try to hit as many matches as possible so you could say I'm the most casual of Valerenga supporters. Was able to see VIF-Viking matchup last year with the crazy Kongshavn equalizer in the 95 minute. Also made it to the the Barcelona clinic. Didn't make it back this summer though.

Appreciate the links to videos etc.
