Phase One: S P O R T I N G Phase Two: C L U B Find The Finalists: D E The Second Phase will be played from Gameweek 13 to Gameweek 24. The C L U B groups contain the winners and runners-up from groups (S I N G) and (P O R T); something that the crew members of BiggerBoat seem to do a lot: sing in port.
My father passed away on Wednesday morning and it seems I forgot about collecting the Gameweek 10 scores. I'll go through each team today and update the Phase 1 positions after our Gameweek 11 results are in. Enjoy the International break.
With one more gameweek to play before we officially start the Second Phase, here's how the leagues stand. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Group S - Drafting 1st ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sasha Juniors have qualified for the Second Phase and Yellowcake Phantoms look set to join them; unless FC Weymouth win with an eleven point swing. Yellowcake Phantoms need a massive 50 point swing to overtake Sasha Juniors as group winner. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Group P - Drafting 2nd ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Although Awesenal have suffered a blip in form lately, they still qualify as group winners with a game to spare. ColdDogSoup FC are in the driving seat for second place, unless Top Shelf win in Gameweek 12. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Group O - Drafting 3rd ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Keysersoze Wanderers look set to join FC Springfield in the next phase, unless On The Road or FC Newark win. Both are higher in the All Rocks league than the Wandering Keysers. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Group R - Drafting 4th ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Pararaiders qualify as group winners while, sadly, Kopite Juniors miss the plane. VegasVirgins need to win with a 29 point advantage over SSC Snoopy to qualify. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Group T - Drafting 5th ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ThiKu Rapids and Ben Giveth & Benteke have both qualified for the next phase. The no capitals, blechs_dawgs (1 win) and Pittsadelphia (0 pts) are out. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Group I - Drafting 6th ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Glorydaze make a final thrust for the line; joining WhataBunchofMuppets! and FC Touchline Ban on 9 points. 868warriors could still make it interesting, with a Gameweek 12 victory; but they're going to need a massive gameweek score - or rather, a Mother of all Massive Gameweek Scores. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Group N - Drafting 7th ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ With Not-a-Cisse, HazMat+9 and Real Mos Eisley all on nine points, Aviators need to win Gameweek 12 to advance. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Group G - Drafting 8th ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ BiggerBoat need the biggest Gameweek 12 score in this group to paddle their way out of it, otherwise denoc75 will join FC St. Pauli in Phase 2. It seems the only time there's interest in these cups is when someone stops updating them; or are we just cup weary? From my part, this Big Soccer forum software is still very buggy and lags like crazy if we type in the box.

With two gameweeks still to play out in the Final Phase, Glorydaze and Awesenal are leading the way in Group D with nine points, while FC St. Pauli and ThiKu Rapids are tied on six points; so it's still very much all to play for. In Group E, Yellowcake Phantoms (12pts) have qualified - trumpet blast - for the Semi-Finals. The other three are all still in with a chance to join them; although denoc75 (9pts) are the team in form. FC Springfield (6pts) hasn't won since the Gameweeks 26 and 27 back-to-back triumphs. With the Gameweek 37 kick-off fast approaching, I've just realised that I almost forgot to update the scores; for the first time this season. Off to Find The Finalists now. Actively updating this comptition, even with my Nomadic activities, has paid dividends on my own team's relative success; not in this competiton, but in the overall All Rocks League Standings. Result.
