Yes you`re right and now that the Copa del Rey final has just passed, I wonder if when Neymar hit the post and if he had scored, it would have made such a huge difference to the game. Maybe Neymar can spend some time being coached in finishing by Romario and Ronaldo, these crucial touches that define a game or even a career are being wasted by Neymar and he and his children will be remembered for this ( Espero vc esta olhando aqui por que eu quero vc ganha esta Copa pra nois ta, e por suas filhos, um dia vc sera lembrado como o pai quem deu a Copa pra Brasil OK. Mas tu tem que levantar do joelhos e fica nosso Hero. Olha na espelho menino?) What is clear is at this level Neymar is not a great finisher like R & R. I was feeling a little envious when Bale scored that goal at the end and feeling bad for Neymar cos he missed a sitter. OK Messi was non-existent but it was a Bale v Neymar situation as their Ronaldo was out, and Bale won.
As much as I hate to admit this I Ithink that Neymar not winning anything for Barcelona is a blessing in disguise! Because he will be highly motivated to win the World Cup for Brazil! And silence all of his critics!
He did well to beat the keeper. It was a matter of inches. Should have had a penalty for the ruthless sliding tackle and box in by pepe. Dani alves was horrible all game,so many bad crosses I am worried mor about him than neymar in the WC Magmas injury might be a blessing in disguise

^ Yep, there were many ways Neymar's career at Barca could have gone, but regarding these early years, it's pretty much going like many (in Barcelona) hoped: the first year of adapting to new city, new team, new way of playing etc, but stepping it up in the second year. Tough to say how far he can take it, but looking good.
Pretty impressive 2nd season from Neymar. Finishing touch is definitely better. He is benefiting from Messi's playmaking and the space left by Suarez's work rate. Messi is still running the show though. Ronaldo's numbers are also benefitted from a lot of good setups from his teammates. With all the injuries in their midfield, his numbers will probably drop.
His finishing has come leaps and bonds this season. He is a better player than last year. Looks like he got stronger physically as well.
I just reckon that his play with our NT is a lot more well-rounded. He creates more, dribbles more, scores just as much. He can still improve his Barcelona play by quite a bit and that's frightening.
I think he changed because he gotten stronger so he can hold off challenges better and second I luis Enrique got in his ear about it. There was a game he feign injury and Luis Enrique thought it was legit and subbed him off since then he stopped.
He hit a rough patch there but he seems to be back at scoring goals now. Barca is really exploiting his quickness and speed to perfection now as he has become really good at timing his run through last defense line and latching onto Messi's passes while staying on-side. He should keep scoring goals as Messi's passes are insanely accurate and consistent. It will be interesting to see how Neymar evolves as Messi declines and eventually leaves. One cannot deny his influence in Neymar's goal count.
