vs Saturday, April 19, 7:30pm Columbus Crew Stadium TWCSC-OH / MLS Live The first 7:30 Saturday night game of the season. DC again, for their only scheduled visit to Crew stadium this year. They've started getting results, and don't look anywhere near as bad as they did in the first game. They've picked up the full 6 points from their last 2 games (against NE and NY). The Crew have a 2-game homestand against DC and NY. We seem to be more than capable of performing well on the road. Getting points at home isn't as easy as it seems. If we can fix that problem, we'll have a great season. I don't know about Columbus, but last night around midnight it started snowing up here in Toledo. The ground is still white right now and there are flurries in the air. Supposedly we should be looking at mid to high 50's for the tailgate and game on Saturday. Keep your fingers crossed. MLS regular season record vs DC United: 24-25-8 MLS regular season record vs DC United in Columbus: 16-7-5 MLS regular season record vs DC United at Crew Stadium: 12-5-5 all-time record vs DC United: 27-32-8 all-time record vs DC United in Columbus: 18-8-5 all-time record vs DC United at Crew Stadium: 13-5-5 (W-L-T) One more win and we can get that top number up to .500!
Crew by 100. Because it's DC, and also because it's DC. I am so ready for this game to get here after the way this week has started.
Now that we have the new big screen, they should be able to put the game on in a corner of the screen.... right??
Time Warner on the ball. They are currently showing San Jose vs Columbus on 4/19 at 7:30PM on my ch. guide

DC has their backup keeper in? Win by 1 and I hope I'm not too conservative (special setup for Crewster or Mateo). This should be a game to reassert ourselves vs the dregs.
I've heard absolutely no promos for this game either so hopefully that means there have already been a lot of tickets sold or the nice day is going to be wasted on a small crowd.
Yeah, decent enough assumption. It's my first game in person this season, so I hope to be pleasently surprised with the attendance.
I asked Santa Pipa for an early birthday gift of a serious all out thrashing. The Crew burn their way to 4-0.
Has there ever been punches thrown in an MLS soccer match? I've seen it in NBA, NFL, MLB, and NHL (where it seems to be encouraged). Have only been watching since 2010.
