Just to note: " These seedings are used to create a bracket that determines the match-ups throughout the playoffs. Once the playoffs start, the bracket is fixed; teams are never "reseeded", unlike in the NFL where the strongest remaining clubs face the weakest clubs in subsequent rounds. The first round of the NBA playoffs, or conference quarterfinals, consists of four match-ups in each conference based on the seedings (1–8, 2–7, 3–6, and 4–5). The four winners advance to the second round, or conference semifinals, with a match-up between the 1–8 and 4–5 winners and a match-up between the 2–7 and 3–6 winners. The two winners advance to the third round, or conference finals. The winner from each conference will advance to the final round, or the NBA finals. Each round is a best-of-seven series. Series are played in a 2–2–1–1–1 format, meaning the team with home-court advantage hosts games 1, 2, 5 and 7, while their opponent hosts games 3, 4, and 6, with games 5–7 being played if needed. Beginning in 2014, the NBA finals will also now be played in a 2–2–1–1–1 format, after NBA team owners unanimously voted to the change away from a 2-3-2 format on October 23, 2013."

If you guys think this is too much and we should simplify it - we can do that - but it might just be too much to start (predicting the entire bracket for example) - but later it should be ok making all these predictions. @P to the Wee You're welcome to join.
Truly hope you're right that the Nets take down Miami. I think Bulls would beat the Nets in the ECF. Glad we get a shot at Indiana in round 2 if we make it.
I think we should stick to the bracket and the series results , the issue being people who post here slack off and almost no one will post each game result , IMHO , if this was a more serious nba forum your format would be perfect
Unless we put some $$$ on it , id put in 50 bucks to the winner myself , no need for anyone else to put $$ up unless they want to
Alright lets just stick to the bracket and series predictions. (But I'll post the game by game odds and we can predict that just for fun - unless there is a huge demand for game predictions as well.) I've posted my entire bracket prediction. After round 1 (i.e. after our brackets are busted ) we can post series predictions round by round.
Nets match up well with Miami - neither team can rebound - and Nets are strong enough defensively to shut down/slow down anybody on that team not named Lebron. Speedy players on the Heat pose a problem for the Nets though since there is nobody on the Nets that can defend in the paint on a consistent basis. Bulls/ Nets series of last year was really close - that missed layup by Watson was crucial. Bulls were playing with half of their team basically but Nets didn't get much production from Joe Johnson. Bulls are stronger if Noah keeps playing the way he is playing. He is top 5 candidate for MVP Award, IMO ... tho there is a big gap between top candidates Durant and Lebron...and then CP3 then and Noah for example.

WESTERN CONFERENCE FINAL (2) Oklahoma City Thunder vs. (4) Houston Rockets Clippers 4 – 3. NBA FINALS Clippers vs. Heat Clippers 4 – 3. CLIPPERS WILL BE CHAMPIONS
The thing with the Nets is that everybody thought the Bulls matched up well with the Heat and then the Heat go on and beat them in 5. I've just seen Miami turn on the next gear one too many times for my liking.
@Sudžuka , @ABiH12 @BH Fanatico , @108thLegendary @bosna10 , @Mirsad Kalakovic @BosnianPapiChulo @podrinje @anticule @Hadzjia Sven Susic Alright guys so post your brackets here please before the first game ( Saturday ) the best Bracket at the end will receive a $50 dollar prize from me via Paypal , if anyone else would like to donate to the pool to make it more exciting please PM me , and anyone can play even if you dont watch NBA you might as well take a shot
if anyone cares for any explanation to my brackets, I see Atlanta giving Indiana a lot of trouble in the first round also Clips vs Warriors will be one hell of a series but without Bogut I think Clips can take them , I chose to Clippers to win it all behind the very well rested Chris Paul and the newest MVP candidate Blake Griffin , and then of course Doc Rivers is invaluable as coach , furthermore I dont rate the Spurs and Houston needs one more year of Chemistry , the East is easier due to the Pacers recent loss of form I think only the Nets will really challenge Miami
