Sound is good. I think Respawn really nailed the movement sound of the Titan and hearing one enter a match is still the best. The 360 version has launched and it sounds like Bluepoint did a great job with it. If you don't have a PC or X1 to play this buy it on the 360, you'll be happy you did.
I've been watching some streams of the X360 version and, at first glance, it doesn't really feel all that different.
Thanks. Sound detail is really important to me in games. Which is why I use headsets, so I get the most out of it. That's why Dead Space holds a special place in my heart. lol Does Titanfall have good "epic" soundtracks? The game looks awesome fun so I might buy it on PC.

New Patch came out yesterday; in my opinion the major additions are private matches, party members showing up as a different color on the mini map, and for the x1 a party shortcut like the invite short cut. There is more to the update including tweaks to a few weapons and the reduction on requirement for the Gooser challenge. full rundown on update
Only drawback for private matches is no XP earned. And then to rub it in, it will show you what you would have earned had you played a public match, lol.
I think it makes total sense though. Let players earn their XP like everyone else, instead of letting their friends become easy pickings and cannon fodder. </cynical>

that'll be a fun game type in private matches... Actually LTS would be fun right now in private matches. I wonder if we will be able to create our own decals.

good luck. definitely some good deals out there for x1's right now. yes? no? kinda. There is a "campaign" option which has you play specific maps that are key to the story for IMS vs Milita. Kind of an ok idea, but with parts of the story being told while ya actually play a match it's easy to lose track of the characters. All in all I found it enjoyable enough that I hope the next map pack will continue the story with three more chapters.
And to expound on this, the "campaign" only utilizes two of the gametypes, Attrition & Hard Point Domination ... no CTF, Last Titan Standing, Pilot Hunter (?), etc.
Guessing the reason for behind that is they couldn't think CTF would work with a story, LTS rounds can be really short to try and fit a narative in it but PH I'm not sure why. I started reading, "Final Hours of Titanfall" last night and finding it really intereting. The book(app?) goes into great detail about the development of Titanfall touching on subjects like, why MS had launch exclusivity, why West left, at one point there was a story mode and more. If you're interested in this game, the Activision IW split, or game development in general it's defintiely worth a read. link (link has a preview chapter to read)
Just seeing this @electrickeeper, sorry I missed out. Definitely could go for another night with a full group in Titanfall. Anyone heard when the first map pack will drop? I know it is supposed to be in May but I've yet to hear a specific date.
Ditto and ditto. I don't think I've really played since the last time we all got together. All I've seen/read has been "later this month" or "in May". Some of the new screenshots are pretty sweet.
