Surprise, surprise mary Earps sign for Bristol Academy. She is guaranteed first team football there and she needs it to stay in the England U23 and senior set-up.

8 players are paid to promote the League and their team on twitter/facebook and receive media training.
Fara Williams for Liverpool was the ambassador last year and did...nothing really, Amanda Da Costa repalces her. Rafferty reprises her role at Chelsea. Steph Houghton carries on from the role at Arsenal to Man City, same thing for Siobhan Chamberlain from Bristol to Arsenal. Fern Whelan takes over from Jill Scott at Everton

Did Amanda Da Costa has already been called by Portugal ? She has Portuguese origins right? ...Nice to see Whelan and Rafferty back .

Rafferty had a hamstring problem last Sunday in a behind closed door friendly, that was watched by 40 people. Chelsea staff allowed me to come and watch but it was so cold I left at half time. Kick-off delayed by players stuck on the M25 :ROFLMAO:

Is she really going to play for the men's team?
In what division Notts County plays? "Pioneering" is the right word: was there ever anything of the kind?

I know it's a very stupid question, but... I guess she will use a separate changing room? Has the club that?

Edit: mmm... wait a moment: it's April 1st, isn't it? So the joke is on me and I am more foolish than an Apri's fool?

    Just playing devil's advocate here:

I assume you're referring to the line
which doesn't actually make the direct connection saying the reason for relegation was on-field performance - just that they were relegated after season where they had a poor performance. Cause and effect is maybe implied but definitely not stated. Also, "winning just once" =/= "finishing last" necessarily - just ask Adelaide down in Australia.

I think the word before is just lying. I mean being relegated 1 game into the season is different from relegated because they only won 1 game.
They write it as if it was decided on the pitch.

Well, the act of being relegated always happens during the offseason, no matter when it's determined who will be relegated, so...

Saying that, knowing that you will play 13 out of 14 games and whatever their result , you will be relegated at the end of the season is not the same as having a shite season and being rightly relegated because you have only won 1 game.

I definitely don't disagree with that! They're two very different situations for sure. I was just trying to put a different spin on the article's sentence - it's not, as some have claimed, trying to 'rewrite the history' of the league because it never directly says what the reason for the relegation was.

Another ACL injury, Alex Windell from Bristol, funny anecdote from last season, I was attending a game at Bristol last year and the players friend were drunk and spent the game shouting at the referee, the oppsoition and even the players team-mates who were giving her instructions. Her goalie was told to shut up for giving her instruction on positionning o_O
