He's leaving River Plate at the end of the season, considering he's only on loan.

He may very well be going to Sevilla.

Sevilla is much more likely than Betis. Betis has no money, they tried to sign Erbes from boca in January and they literally had no money and couldn't pay for him.

Malaga still owes River 5 million euros for the Buonanotte deal from June 2011, and Leonardo Ponzio, currently at River, is still owed over a million euros fram Zaragoza from 2011 when he returned to River

I think a lot of times people just read rumors and assume that because a club is in Europe they have money, but most clubs in Spain, Portugal, and Italy are just as poor most likely more so than argentine clubs, it's just the difference is they can pay in euros which draws players, but these clubs don't have the money to pay transfer fees and often have huge debts with players

Racing still owes Nacional for Gio Moreno..... not just euro clubs. Its my issue with Argie teams. They want to buy our guys for 1.5-2 million bucks give us half or 1/4 of it. Then wait to sell them for 5x more to give us our money.

Slow down.... I've watched every RP match and Carbonero still lacks decision making and finishing in the box. Ahead of him we still have plenty of MFs. Also, not everyone can wear the NT shirt. I'd like to see him in Europe and see him improve his 'futbol IQ' a bit more. He's still quite young. If he keeps it up,why not. Just needs to be more consistent game to game.

En sevillla andan muy bien de volantes ofensivos......competencia dura va a tener....una entrada al porto como extremo , creo que le caeria bien.......creo, que su forma de juego caeria bien en francia y en unos equipos de italia....

I am talking about Sevilla. Not the National team.
It would be nice to see Carbonero go to Sevilla and be taken under Bacca's wing.

France would be an excellent stop for him. Or a similar mid-low table Liga team without lofty expectations where he can stand the pressure and transition into the environment.

Rakitić is a free agent in the summer and will leave. Love how Macnelly is good enough in Saudi Arabia but Carbonero at Rover nope! I know that league isn't great anymore but come one people.

If Sevilla make it to Champions, I doubt the top brass will let such a vital player go.

man, different type of players, with different styles.......not necesary all offensive midfielders are the same and can aport the same thing.....and you can replace each other because the one play in better team or league than another....

macnelly is in the team because he have proved that is a good partner of james in midfield (thing that guarin couldnt in matches agisnt peru and ecuador, where james was alone) ........carbonero, is very effective and dngerous in the right wing, but not is brilliant because his asocciations skills with lanzini, teo and etc (recomend you watch river)....in other words, the opponent for carbonero place in the national team, are cuadrado, ibarbo and maybe james.

macnelly is competing with guarin and quintero......

and apply the same for rakitic (at the same time, he is close to the renewal with sevilla)....is a different type of player, not carbonero charasteristics.....i recommend sincerely that you watch river and carbonero, and you will understand

it is related with positions...not because if he is brilliant in a better league, he should take out the spot of a man that play in a other position........

dont say love ....when you dont love the situation....

His football iq is very good and remember he's also learning a new position.

At arsenal, he wasn't asked to do any defensive work, he was basically playing a free roll on the right with no responsibility. At river, Ramon Diaz has asked him to do a lot of different things, even playing as a number 5 in cordoba the other week

    How's his defending?
That aspect could help opening the doors to the NT
