My article about matchday 3 in Nadeshiko League: http://protagonistasdeljuego.com/20...da-la-primera-victoria-al-inac-kobe-leonessa/
What a showman he was ! He could teach a lot to all the current street-free-style-jugglers... And HE was even better in a real game on the field Genius.
And Kinga celebrating Alex Scott's equalizer for Arsenal tonight (after a shot by Ohno) at Notts County's ground (1-1) for the 1rst day of FAWSL. Chelsea with Soyun and Yuki will play tomorrow (thursday).
Rumi and Saki with Mélissa Plaza (the player who is jumping on Rumi's back on a former pic, they were teammates in Montpellier during 3 years, she is now playing for Lyon while being a PhD in Social Psychology), and the girl I recently interviewed for Foot d'Elles
some news from Asia (where mood is bit somber today because of Korea ferry accident) : Hesterine de Reus officially out as Matildas manager. http://www.fifa.com/womensworldcup/news/newsid=2320330/index.html I guess Sermanni may come back.
Not sure how Virany had a gif of 2nd Otaki's goal from sunday on her Tumblr page... Anyway, I found some good amateur highlights of the full Urawa-Saitama match, including all of the goals (so we currently just miss Kibi-JEF's goals, from last matchday): it looks like Urawa had many other chances, apart from the 5 goals, while Saitama had fery few. Please, notice clever dummy by a player in the center on the box on the cross that led to Urawa 1st goal by Chika Kato. Not sure who the player who made it was.
It was Shibata. The one who assisted Ami's two goals is also her. The one who assisted Seike's goal is my avatar girl. She seems to get stronger at one on one fightings.
Thanks a lot for the news. I wrote an article about the players mutiny some time ago : http://www.footdelles.com/article/Ici-la-bas_Quand-des-Matildas-Australiennes-se-mutinent_92034.html And all my thoughts go to your country and its people after the ferry accident
That goal reminded me of Jeoun Eun-Ha's great second goal against Brasil in the U-20 2012 WWC. Total commitment. Worth seeing again... (about 3m 10s into this..)
Wow... never quite read a 'football' interview like that. It was more like an essay by Foucault or Derrida.. not sure I understood it all, but Bravo -
I always learn something new in French, through Gromit's articles! For instance, I knew the verb "virer" to mean "fire", in the sense of dismissing someone from a job, but I had never heard the verb "limoger". Has it anything to do with Limoges?
You're absolutely right. Actually, it comes from exactly 100 years ago, in 1914. Some officers in French army were sent (from disciplinary and/or incapability reasons) by General Joffre to the city of Limoges. So, the word "limogeage" was born, and the verb "limoger"... It's a little familiar, when "virer" is more slang... The "correct" terms are indifferently : démettre (de ses fonctions), destituer, relever de ses fonctions, révoquer...
Info : Yuki and Soyun will start tonight for their first FAWSL game of the season against Bristol. I wish a 4-4 (with two goals for each)
