CdR final, Bale just scores a solo goal and nut meg's Pinto to give Madrid a 2-1 win with 5' to go. Both teams playing piss poor, granted they are missing key players but both of these teams look as bad as I've seen in the last 4-5 years.
I know I should be a bigger person but I really enjoy watching some of these Barca fans suffer. They have things their way for a long while now and the pendulum is swinging back the other way.
My guess is that, when the guy tries to run Ronaldo off the field, he would have thrown his arms about like he's signalling something in semaphore, imploring the ref to send the guy off which, to be fair, would have been justified.
I like the fact that Sunderland drew. Having them lose would have caused more motivation and winning might have given them more confidence. A draw just gets them to have slight mental fatigue and less confidence. Plus it's payback time. Still can't believe we're not on 81 points now. Even a loss at Pool would have been fine then.
Yep. that'd be nice and easy IF we had had Matic all season? IF we had had a striker this season? but the past has gone. Ho-Hum. The scousers are saying that they only need to draw against us and that we need to win. Maybe. I think there are probably more points out there to drop than one might think. Citeh and Liverpool both have away games at Palace and they are games that could easily become draws. Pulis' Palace are going to be tough to beat [as Everton and us have already found out - ] there is still room for a few surprises and the dropping of points if you ask me. Just hope it is them and not us. I cannot bear the thought of the human vermin winning the league. - I know. Be nice. Say nice things about the scousers. They're just people right? . . .but are they really? Are they? Are they humans?

Bale always had the reputation of being a diver in the Prem, but I'd expect most diva players in the world would go down in a heap from that sideline bump from Bartra. Very impressive that he drove forward to score that.
Bale's run was greater than the goal. All he had had to do after the run was beat a traffic cone with a ponytail to actually score.
Not sure he had a reputation particularly... he runs quickly so any contact will bring the guy over. The truth is the guy was in the prem for a number of years so, inevitably, it will always be possible to find some incidents that will look bad, as much as anything because of the way he plays the game.
