Why are you blaming the Flash? Nike are the ones who can get one custom designer on their staff in 2 YEARS to draw up personalized kits for the teams. It just takes one clothing designer from one of the sweat shops o_O to get it done.

So apparently he just meant the jersey sponsor...

Because teams had the ability to pick from multiple styles (see list on previous forum page) and use their own custom colors (as evidenced by the Dash, Red Stars, and Reign), but instead every team except 2 are using the Trophy II style for at least one of their jerseys and every team but 1 of those are using off-the-shelf models.

Boston no longer has Ocean Spray as a sponsor?

Their sponsor logo looks like one of these Tetris pieces.

Um, yet the Dash get custom orange kits with blue details...

... that's on WNY (and Portland) They HAD the choice of colors this time. WNY could have added yellow details. Portland could have added some green.

The Dash (and the Red Stars with their dope hoops) kill your argument.

Thorns probably going to sell more kits regardless if they had better designs or not.

It's another local orthopedic sponsors. Hey USSoccer, get off your behind, spinning wild stories about TS' demise and go out and get National and International jersey sponsors for these teams. Right now, WNY o_O looks like the only team with a National sponsor.

Is Sahlen's national? I've never seen their products for sale anywhere I've lived.

Houston has an international sponsor, though. BBVA is a Spanish bank.

the Dash have the Dynamo's sponsor, which is all good. I saw a Sahlen's smoke house ham in a California meat shop. They sell via a distributor online.

Let us all first be grateful for baby steps. Last year not all teams had jersey sponsors and this year they all do.

Here's Portugal's women's national team's red jersey (with a touch of green around the neck).
I definitely think this is much nicer than Portland's red one.

In case you didn't notice, FCKC has an international sponsor on the back of their jerseys:

that looks like toshiba plumbing or something. i don't see it on their sponsorship page. i'm talking about a sponsor buying the prime real estate on the jersey. that's not even like citi a couple of years ago when they appeared on all teams' jersey.

    It's not plumbing, it's:

Toshiba is a Japanese multinational engineering and electronics conglomerate corporation... with ¥6.204 trillion ($61 billion) in revenue in 2012.

Sure it's not as notable as being on the front, but it's still a major international corporate sponsor.

Am I the only one who likes the warmups better than the actual kits?

I say promote it to the first kit. Have the black as the second kit and then use the red as third kit.
