Pressing + possession is the future. Wear out your opponent by controlling possession and take it off their tired asses when they try to counter. Rinse and repeat. Bayern is a good example but an overlooked team that is on the up is Red Bull Salzburg, they are brilliant when it comes to pressing and if they had lethal passers this team would be a world beater. http://thenewlibero.blogspot.com/2014/03/have-red-bull-salzburg-reinvented-4-2-4.html
I'd love to play the press too, but the players Susic puts out there probably wouldn't be able to do it well. I have a feeling Dzeko would do it for the first 15 minutes and if gets nothing out of it, he would quit and become quite lethargic. Medo would be decent at it, but I don't think he would win many tackles. Salihovic is too slow for it. As well as Miske. So if we get some of those guys to play a press, it might backfire because I sincerely doubt that Bico could handle an Argentine or Nigerian player one on one if someone in the CDM position gets beat. I also don't think Hajro would play it well because from a few games of his that I've watched, he's looked lazy on the defensive end. If we were to play a press though, I honestly think this would be the optimal formation ------Begovic------ Mujdza--Vranjes--Spaha--Kola ---------Besic------------ ---------------Medo------- Visca-----Pjanic--------Lulic ------------Ibisevic--------- Although that would be highly unlikely and that wouldn't be our best lineup either
Old article but I thought it was a good one. I'm glad Begovic has such strong fan support at Stoke. I kinda don't want him to move considering that Hughes is really doing damage with that squad in his first year. http://www.stokesentinel.co.uk/Stok...y-says-Asmir/story-20829607-detail/story.html
#FCBayern substitutes: Husic (GK) - van Buyten, Martínez, Rafinha, Pizarro, Götze, Hojbjerg. husic on bench
Terrible match from Vrsajevic and Tino on the bench again Blamaža Vršajevićevog i Sušićevog Hajduka http://sportsport.ba/ino_fudbal/blamaza-vrsajevicevog-i-susicevog-hajduka/129187
You are exaggerating. Tino Susic got called up only once and played for just a few minutes. Lot's of us give Vrsajevic shit, but he had some surprisingly good moments when playing for the NT. Vrsajevic plays with pace and energy. He does add some value to the team. Guys like Besic and Prcic are only 21 and 20 years old. Both have illustrated questionable attitudes. The fact that Vrsajevic is valued more than Besic and Prcic on transfermarkt should be a hint. Don't lose sleep over them not getting a call up. The fact is that we currently don't have any players that are vastly better than Susic and Vrasajevic is a concern. However, it's not necessary a mistake to call up players like Susic. Calm down! Mit dem Angriff Steiners wird das alles in Ordnung kommen.
Vrsajevic play like us Bosnians like to say "ko muha bez glave" in that all he has is pace but no technical ability nor crossing ability. I do agree with you that he plays a position that we lack talent at and so after Mujdza it's pretty much him or we move Lulic to RB or call up Besic as he has been playing RB lately for his club. Transfermarkt valuation are a joke and done by fans so can't and won't ever take it serious. Besic and Prcic, despite the "attitude problems" are not only superior talents to Susic but younger as well. We've all seen Besic play and can see that his game is exactly what we need at DM, a black hole on out team. And Prcic, at 20, has played a lot (and started a lot of games) for a Top 5 league team. He could play Medunjanin's position with ease right now and I see him as the eventual replacement for Misimovic. Susic can be a nice depth player but to say we don't have "better" talents available is ridiculous.
Vranjes at RB is just fine I think. If Besic gets a call up, I wouldn't want him to play anything other than CDM because of how badly we need one as good as him.
Izet celebrating with his teammates on making it to the Cup finals, he watched the entire semi-final from the bench though
Inter Milan's defensive midfielder Zdravko Kuzmanović had apparently been convinced to play for Bosnia but corrupt individuals in the Savez wanted him to pay money so we lost a player http://zmajevibih7.blogspot.com/2014/04/ovo-je-jedan-od-najvecih-skandala-u.html
